In a strong diplomatic and strategic move, India has imposed a complete ban on the entry of Pakistani aircraft—both commercial and military—into Indian airspace until May 23. This decision comes amid heightened tensions and is aimed at asserting India’s stand against Pakistan’s recent provocations and support for anti-India activities. All types of Pakistani flights have been restricted from using Indian air corridors, significantly affecting Pakistan’s flight routes and increasing operational costs for its airlines. This includes both passenger and cargo aircraft. In a parallel economic development, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), representing over 8 crore traders across the country, has announced a total boycott of all business deals with Pakistan. The organization declared that no Indian trader will engage in any form of commercial agreement or trade with Pakistan going forward. This dual approach—airspace restriction and trade boycott—sends a strong message from India, signaling that any form of hostility or support for terrorism will be met with tough economic and strategic countermeasures. These measures are expected to further isolate Pakistan on the global stage and reflect India’s commitment to national security and self-reliance.
