00:36oh, we can't touch the Obamacare expansion population.
00:38Like, it's mind-boggling. But, man, they love their tax cuts.
00:41They love extending their tax cuts and then saying, oh, but don't worry.
00:45The math will all just work out, wink, wink.
00:47No, you've got to do the spending side.
00:49So you would be opposed to finding a number below $880 billion for E&C?

00:54I mean, look, I'll take whatever cut I can get, but then don't go try to sell me the tax numbers.

01:00The reason we got comfortable, reluctantly, before Easter with the budget
01:04was a promise-slash-guarantee of putting these things on the table,
01:08came out of the White House, came out of the Speaker's office,
01:11came out of the Majority Leader's office in the Senate of a trillion-and-a-half-type levels,
01:15and those numbers gave us some belief that maybe we're serious.
01:18Look, by the way, we're having very serious conversations that we should be having.
01:21But I think the rush timeline is creating a bit of chaos that was unnecessary.
