Scientists claim robot vacuums can be reprogrammed to play with cat and water plants: 'For most of the day, they sit idle'

Scientists have suggested robot vacuums can be reprogrammed to around 100 functions, including playing with a cat, watering plants, delivering breakfast in bed, closing the windows in a home if it started raining, and transporting shopping from a car to a kitchen.
