Three dead in Uppsala shooting, Swedish police launch investigation

00:01Swedish police say three people were killed in a shooting attack in the eastern city of Uppsala near the capital Stockholm.
00:08Local media say a manhunt to locate the perpetrator who reportedly fled the scene on an electric scooter is underway.
00:15The attack happened in a residential neighborhood.
00:18I think it's uncomfortable, especially when you know that we went past the scene. I picked up my uncle just a minute before and we went past here. We live next to them.
00:28And I think it's about children and young people in these areas. I think it's very uncomfortable.
00:34A large area was cordoned off by police who launched a probe into the attack which is being investigated as a murder.
00:42The motive behind the attack was not immediately clear and police did not provide details about the suspect.
00:48Crime has been on the rise in Sweden where gang violence has spiked in recent years, leading to frequent gun, knife and bombing attacks.
