00:00A couple weeks into the season now, a month really, it's time to start looking at some of the best and the worst in baseball.
00:08Why don't we do the money line first?
00:10The most profitable team so far on the money line is the Giants, plus 6.5 units in Major League Baseball.
00:18The Mets at plus 4.5, Tigers, Cubs, Padres.
00:23Obviously, you know the Rockies, and they've got this spot, and they're not going to give it up all year.
00:27They're minus 19.5 units already with the White Sox, who are also awful, 10 back of them, minus 9.2 units.
00:37But the Pirates are unfortunately on the naughty list, too, at minus 6.5 units.
00:41Well, I mean, we all know they suck.
00:43So the thing is that I'm not surprised in the least that those five teams are the best money line bets of the season.
00:56I, you know, the Giants have, you know, been incredible.
01:00They had back-to-back walk-offs on Saturday and Sunday at home at Oracle.
01:05They win there.
01:06Look at them, up 6.5 units.
01:08The Mets have the best record in baseball.
01:10The Tigers have the best record in the American League.
01:13The Cubs have been the Dodgers' worst nightmare.
01:17They've been winning at Wrigley left and right.
01:20They've been fantastic.
01:21I got to tell you, they've been the biggest surprise for me in baseball.
01:24And the Padres are just flat-out good any way you look at it.
01:28And they've been great at Petco.
01:30And they've been, you know, I'd say fair to Midland on the road.
01:36As far as who's played the most overs this year, believe it or not, I was kind of surprised when I saw this.
01:42The Marlins have played the most overs in Major League Baseball.
01:46They are 19-9 to the over so far this year.
01:50Cubs, Diamondbacks, Giants, Mariners, and Guardians also on the upside.
01:54Meanwhile, the Rangers and Mets have played the most unders.
01:58Rangers, 21 of their 29 games have been under so far this year.
02:03Mets, Rockies, Blue Jays, Royals, Padres on the underside playing low-scoring.
02:07Well, I mean, you know, what is it?
02:09The Padres have good pitching.
02:11The Mets pitching has been good.
02:13The Rockies don't score runs.
02:18You know, I'm not really that.
02:20The Rangers have good pitching.
02:22I'm not surprised at any of that.
02:24I guess I am surprised at the Marlins.
02:28Is that because so many teams are kicking their ass?
02:31Is that what that is?
02:33I'm not surprised at the Cubs.
02:34The Cubs have had 13, 11 games.
02:37You know, 11, 10 games.
02:40They've had all these wild games at Wrigley Field.
02:42And in the spring, with that wind blowing out, it's been, you know, a launching pad.
02:49Yeah, I think the Marlins is a combination of a few things.
02:52Obviously, they, you know, they're 12 and 16.
02:54You know, they've lost a lot of games.
02:56They've given up a lot of runs in a lot of those games.
02:58They've actually found some guys that have been hitting the ball out of the ballpark.
03:01This kid Mervis, Asu Sanchez, that kid I was telling you about yesterday, the catcher they've called up that's hit like three omers in the last week.
03:09So, they've actually been, they found a couple bats, maybe, in their system, too.
03:14So, they're actually scoring a few runs, which is nice to see.
03:18Dodgers are obviously still the favorites in the National League.
03:22And they will be all year.
03:23I don't care what happens.
03:24All the way to October, they'll be the favorites.
03:26But I'm still surprised that the Yankees are favorites in the American League at plus 340.
03:33The Yankees favored.
03:35Sure.
03:36You believe that.
03:36Yeah, you know, at some level, I have to, I guess, for the first time, say I'm not surprised that they're favored.
03:44Because they've been solid.
03:47I wanted to puke last night watching them lose to the Orioles.
03:50But, you know, when I'm seeing them kick the Jays' ass in a doubleheader, the way they've played, I think the decisions they're making is, you know, this kid William sucks.
04:00So, put Weaver back in there.
04:02They're doing the right things.
04:03They're winning games.
04:04They're, I think, Judge and company have had their, Goldschmidt have been hitting the ball all over the place.
04:11I'm not surprised they're failing.
