00:00We start in the National League pennant prices where really the
00:08story all year was the tier of two with the Phillies ever so slightly behind
00:12both the Braves and the Dodgers but the shake-up has been one because of
00:17Philadelphia's excellence on the diamond 42 wins the most in MLB for a good
00:22majority of this opening half of the year the Phil's have had the best mark
00:26in all of the bigs and then also because of the injuries to Atlanta
00:31Spencer Strider out for this year the ace for the Braves Ronald Acuna jr.
00:35reigning National League MVP injured two weekends ago out for the rest of this
00:40season as well now really it's a tier of three where the Braves sit in third and
00:46the Dodgers remain the favorites but the Phillies have that second shortest price
00:50of plus 270 and by the way we're taking a look at some of these pennant prices
00:55as they shape up and I technically agree that maybe the Dodgers should have
00:59a slight lead because we always know something's up the Dodgers sleeve for
01:02whatever reason single a double a triple a they have the best prospects that can
01:05afford anybody they want and money is of no object so if they want to go out and
01:09get themselves another all-star player by the deadline if they need it they
01:12will do that but the Phillies have shown a propensity to pay a lot of money in
01:15their payroll as well top two top three payroll in Major League Baseball they
01:19will make moves but also take a look at the competitive advantages right now
01:22Ben across the National League in the East Central and West seven game lead
01:26for the Phillies seven game lead for the Cubs seven game lead or seven seven game
01:30lead for the Brewers over the Cubs and a seven game lead here for the Dodgers
01:34like are we watching some of these teams just running and hiding already and
01:38we're not even through the first week of June it'll be interesting over the next
01:41month and a half right up to the all-star break to see if these teams can
01:44close that gap but we honestly could be looking because to be like the Phillies
01:48don't look like they're slowing any time down anytime soon and you can't fault
01:51the Braves for being 33 and 24 like hey we're having a really good season the
01:54Phillies are just doing it on a historic level right now and also what did the
01:58Braves have to offer and when does their lineup start to turn over and start
02:01hitting the baseball because they're getting good pitching and still winning
02:04games we take away the Cubs they're under 500 right now I thought this was
02:07one of those teams that could be able to challenge yeah because we talked about
02:10that frontline pitching of their staff but they certainly haven't been hitting
02:13the baseball all that well in 257 run score compared to 305 by the Brewers who
02:18we never accused of being a great offensive team and then the Dodgers I'm
02:22waiting for the Padres here to sort of turn that corner because I do think they
02:25have a lot of talent but they're only one game over 500 so it looks like the
02:29Phillies Brewers and the Dodgers if you just took a parlay right now on who was
02:32going to win the division you'd be hard-pressed to say one of those teams
02:35is gonna fall off because they already have a seven game lead
