Inspirado em um caso real, VOVÓ conta a história perturbadora de uma senhora cadeirante que, nos últimos dias de vida, dependia de um pequeno sino para chamar a atenção da neta. Em vez de cuidado, ela recebia maus-tratos e desprezo. Após a morte da idosa, a cadeira ficou vazia — mas o passado não se foi com ela. A neta ainda precisa aprender que certas ações deixam marcas profundas, e que o que vai, volta. Às vezes, do jeito mais assustador.

Inspired by a true story, GRANDMA tells the disturbing tale of an elderly woman in a wheelchair who, during her final days, relied on a small bell to call for her granddaughter. But instead of care, she was met with cruelty and neglect. After the old woman passed away, her chair sat empty — but the past didn’t die with her. The granddaughter is about to learn that some actions leave deep scars, and what goes around always comes back… sometimes in the most terrifying ways.
