00:01Welcome back.
00:02On Monday, the government of Venezuela issued an official statement condemning the kidnapping
00:05by U.S. authorities of two-year-old Venezuelan girl, Michaelis Antonella Espinosa Bernal,
00:12who was separated from her mother before a repatriation flight.
00:15The official statement starts by denouncing they have once again committed the extremely
00:20serious offense of separating families and removing a minor from her emotional environment
00:25and in particular from her biological mother.
00:27We also denounce that the father of the girl was kidnapped and sent without any form of
00:31trial or court action to the concentration camp that the satrap Bukele erected in El Salvador.
00:39It follows by stressing that in this despicable practice, human beings are subject to cruel
00:44and degrading treatment, families are separated and Venezuelan citizens are sent to concentration
00:49camps in third countries ruled by complicit governments and lackeys in violation of any
00:53basic principle of due process under rule of law.
00:57Furthermore, the Venezuelan government denounces that the only thing our compatriots are accused
01:01of, through the shameful applause of the fascists of the Venezuelan extreme right, who gloat themselves
01:06in the crimes against humanity against our people, is having been born in our homeland.
01:10In its closing remarks, the government stresses that Venezuela will resort to all legal, political
01:16and economic and economic mechanisms, as well as to all multilateral actions aimed at ensuring
01:22that the sacred integrity of our families is respected and that international laws are upheld, so that
01:28the infant Mike Kellis Antonella Espinoza Bernal is returned safe and sound to her country.
