Mandsaur Accident: Speeding Van Falls Into Well After Hitting Bike, 12 Including Biker & Rescuer Die

A speeding van carrying 14 people fell into a well in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, April 27. As many as 12 people, including a biker & a rescuer, died in the accident which occurred in the Narayangarh police station area. According to reports, the speeding van fell into the water-filled well after hitting a motorcycle. A villager, identified as Manohar, who descended into the well to save drowning people, also lost his life. Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda said that the van driver had apparently lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road & land into a well.
