Venezuela will hold this Sunday the second Popular Consultation of 2025, where Venezuelans residing in the country will have to choose from the community projects in the more than 5,330 Communal Circuits.

00:17a significant day for popular power in Venezuela, with this second public consultation already underway.
00:24Let's hear now from our correspondent Bruno Falsi, who is on the ground.
00:27Hello, Bruno. Tell us, how is everything developing over there?
00:39Hello, Belém. Everything is well here.
00:43We are in the center of votation in the Comuna Cacique Guaicaicuro, in the center of Caracas,
00:49where many citizens are voting in the participative process of direct democracy of Venezuela.
01:00As you can see, everything is passing well, and we are following the election in many centers of votation.
01:09Exactly. Bruno, so tell us a little bit more about the commune in which you are now, right, at the moment.
01:16Tell us, what are the projects that the people are voting on?
01:19Have you been able to speak to some of the people there? What did they tell you?
01:23Between the projects that have been debated in the commune, there is the activation of the water purification
01:39and the legalization of the houses that have been occupied by many people.
01:47And the most important one is the buying of equipment for the clinic of the community.
01:54And as you can see here, they have a census with all the families, the population, the voters.
02:02This is done in all the communities of the country.
02:07There are more than 5,000 consuls, community consuls in all Venezuela.
02:15And they are voting now, and they will keep voting until the end of the day.
02:20Now, Bruno, we know, of course, that this is not the first public consultation.
02:24It's actually the fourth one in total and the second one this year.
02:28So I wanted to ask you just what other projects did this commune vote on in the past?
02:37Are there any projects that have already been enforced in this community?
02:48Yes, Belen, as you can see, there's everything right in the walls of the commune,
02:54as in all the communes in the country.
02:57And here you can see the projects that the Consul Comunal have approved in the last years.
03:07Between the projects that have been made, here you see the photos.

03:17There's the gasification.
03:19You can see the laborers working in the gasification of all the houses of the neighborhood.
03:25And two, another important infrastructure work that have been made in this neighborhood
03:33is the waterproofing of the houses, as you can see in the photos.
03:38Everything is explained in the wall by the own neighborhood who organized themselves
03:45in the popular power of the people, that's how the Bolivarian revolution and the Bolivarian democracy
03:55is made here in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela.
