00:00What's up, Vedders? Patrick here with Vetted. I have some breaking news. The U.S. National Archives has just released some new documents and they've kind of packaged it all beautifully together.
00:11So I've got the story. This is actually going to be a much crazier video than you could ever imagine because someone did find something quite interesting in this new drop and we'll get to that in a moment.
00:24We're going to go over a lot of things. Roswell in particular. So pay attention.
00:31And specifically this gentleman right here who I will reveal later in the video and I promise you're either going to be surprised or upset at what you find out.
00:43Now before we get this video going, please Vedders, I'd like to ask, please hit that like button. That really helps out the videos, y'all.
00:50And of course, if you're not already subscribed, hit that subscribe button. I put out new videos every week about the UFO phenomena. Let's get this going.
00:57So it all starts with this tweet from the U.S. National Archives.
01:01To maximize transparency, the National Archives has released new records related to unidentified anomalous phenomena, UAP.
01:08And then they put who the records come from. They put a link to where you can go explore the UAP collection.
01:13And some people were a little dismayed about this. And look, Anna Paulina Luna tweets it out, right?
01:20They updated the website with a button for all documents related to UAPs. And we'll get more into that here in just a second.
01:26And then, of course, some people, again, were not too happy with what came out.
01:31And they had some questions. This guy writes right here, right?
01:34How odd. There are several decades missing, like the 80s and 90s, and only text records for 22 to 25.
01:40So any images that could contain any level of detail are unsurprisingly absent.
01:46This isn't transparency. It's yet just another stalling tactic to temporarily appease the masses.
01:52And Anna Paulina Luna responds with, there will be more rolling releases, more down the line as records are declassified.
01:59So more to come. So I guess that's really the issue.
02:02They just needed to classify some of it. So it's not all there, but at least they did make it one centralized thing.
02:07Take a look. And here is the page from the National Archives.
02:11As you can see, they basically just put everything onto one page so it's easier to find, right?
02:17I'll put a link in the description. Go check it out for yourself. But here it is, right?
02:20Boom. You got photographs, moving images and sound, textual and microfilm, presidential libraries, additional resources, book catalog.
02:28You know, all of this, all together, all in one place to make it easy.
02:33And look, I did find some things that are kind of interesting.
02:37And this was the image that, you know, they tweeted out with this typical flying saucer here.
02:42There's really not much detail, but, you know, I don't know.
02:45What do y'all think? Let me know in the comments.
02:47Now let's get to something more interesting.
02:48Now, don't worry, because it gets way more interesting.
02:51Stay with me. I'm saving the best for last.
02:54Now, let's take a look at this one.
02:56Alamo Gordo, New Mexico, October 16th, 1957.
03:04I guess this is what we're looking at, a UFO here.
03:07It's kind of interesting.
03:09Let's move on to the next one.
03:11Now, this next one was very interesting because I don't know what the heck it is.
03:16Take a look.
03:17This is from Project Blue Book, Snohomish, Washington.
03:22There's really no details about this except these photos.
03:25Like, what the hell are, you know, is this?
03:28Is it just, it looks like it's just one object with multiple pictures, but what is it?
03:32What are they purporting it to be?
03:34Let me know what you think in the comments and if you've seen anything like this.
03:38I mean, it looks like it's dirt or something.
03:40I don't know.
03:42Now, I have two more things to show you, and I'm saving the best for last.
03:46So, I promise you're going to want to stick around for that.
03:49Now, let's take a look at this video.
03:51They also released from the U.S. National Archives.
03:55It was about the Roswell Report from 1997.
03:58It was this film that was made, and here's a short little clip of that.
04:03An event, popularly known as the Roswell Incident, has recently been the subject of intense interest by both the media and a curious general public.
04:20In recent years, numerous speculative books, magazine articles, television programs, a made-for-TV movie, two UFO museums, fraudulent documents, and even an alien autopsy film have emerged to exploit the media fascination with the Roswell Incident.
04:39Now, I'm glad we're staying on Roswell because this next part that I have for you that was uncovered in this document drop is honestly pretty damn interesting, if I'm being honest.
04:53So, I want to give a special shout-out to All Things Unexplained Podcast with Dr. Tim.
04:59He put this out.
05:00He gets all the credit.
05:02I've been on their show before.
05:03Amazing show.
05:04They do a great job.
05:05And he put out this tweet.
05:07I'm going to read it for you.
05:08Breaking.
05:101994 Roswell Audio reveals covert efforts to evade UFO disclosure laws.
05:16FOIA.
05:17A newly released audio-only recording from June 8, 1994 captures the U.S. Air Force interviewing Professor Charles B. Moore, a physicist and meteorologist who played a key role in Project Mogul at his dining table.
05:33In the clip, Moore references Robert Todd, a persistent Roswell researcher known for his sharp criticism of the UFO community.
05:42Todd was seeking to communicate privately with Air Force officials in a deliberate attempt to circumvent FOIA protocols, an effort to stop documents from being released to UFO buffs.
05:54Moore also reveals that Colonel Duffy kept significant materials stored in his basement, documents presumably never seen by the public.
06:01This is hard evidence of a deeper, more controlled information network surrounding the Roswell incident.
06:09Now, who is this Colonel Duffy hiding documents?
06:12Well, the image that I was going to reveal is Colonel Duffy.
06:17This is who's been hiding documents about Roswell in his basement.
06:22There you go.
06:23How do you feel about that?
06:25Now, let's play this audio recording.
06:28Did he prefer you not give us copies of all this information?
06:32Right.
06:34He's dug up the things with Colonel Duffy, and he wants to be sure that they don't get released to the other UFO buffs or the UFO buffs.
06:42I think he's not one under freedom of information.
06:45So I think he's willing to have it transferred to you as a private communication.
06:50I think Colonel Weaver promised that he could arrange it so that it would not come under freedom of information disclosure,
06:56which may be odd for Todd to be asking, but I thought you'd find that of some interest.
07:02Well, the end report we're going to write is going to be based on official records and, essentially, transcripts such as this.
07:16So there will be a lot of things like Cabot's tape, the transcript will not be part of that.
07:25But the summary will.
07:27The statement will be.
07:31Can I make a suggestion?
07:34If you remember, there's a note in there from Dave Atlas to Colonel Duffy, a copy of a letter, I think, there.
07:40And Dave mentioned somewhere or another that Colonel Duffy took him down to his basement, and he had a large amount.
07:46Colonel Duffy had a trunk full of documents that were unclassified.
07:51I wonder if it would be possible for you to contact Mrs. Duffy.
07:55I was wondering about what she might have.
07:58Well, I think she may have a great deal.
08:00All right, so let's break this down.
08:01Basically, we have this gentleman right here, Colonel Duffy, right, who is holding on to a lot of information in his basement.
08:11Now, what makes him so important?
08:12I mean, he is one of the key figures of the Roswell incident, right?
08:16You could call it the Roswell cover-up, the Roswell story, the Roswell encounter, whatever you want to call it.
08:22But this guy has some documents, a lot, trunk fulls, right, of unclassified or declassified documents that could very well answer more questions about what happened at Roswell, right?
08:36So where are the Duffy documents, right?
08:41Where are these?
08:42That's what we need to find.
08:43So better get on it.
08:45Get on the Internet.
08:46See what you can find.
08:48This is very, very interesting and also kind of disturbing.
08:51Who else does this, right?
08:53How many people end up with all these documents and basements and attics that we just never get, right?
08:58This is just a prime example of a rampant problem, in my opinion.
09:03And another part of that audio recording that I found interesting was the fact that they do partake in activities to get around FOIA requests, even with private citizens.
09:16I mean, this is crazy, right?
09:17But John Greenwald is probably spinning in his seat right now, just like, what?
09:23You know what I mean?
09:24I mean, you try to go about it the right legal way.
09:27And then here you have the government, you know, forcibly going around FOIA, right?
09:32To cover up UFO documents and what happened at Roswell.
09:36I mean, what is going on here?
09:37This is honestly, depending on how you look at it, pretty big breaking news, right?
09:43So again, I ask, where are the Duffy documents?
09:49Now, I'm going to end this video on an audio recording from 1947, right as Roswell hit.
09:57I just found it very interesting, and I think it's a little inspirational.
10:01Kind of, this is how they were approaching the topic right when the story hit in July of 1947, right?
10:07On an ABC radio news broadcast.
10:10So I've taken the original clip from archives, and I've added some subtitles to help kind of, you know, understand what's going on.
10:20Because it is a, you know, 65-year-old recording.
10:24But again, this is how they were looking at Roswell.
10:27And this is how important Roswell actually is.
10:32Headline edition, July 8th, 1947.
10:43The Army Air Forces has announced that a flying disc has been found and is now in the possession of the Army.
10:49Army officers say the missile found sometime last week has been inspected at Roswell, New Mexico,
10:55and sent to Wright Field, Ohio, for further inspection.
10:57Late this afternoon, a bulletin from New Mexico suggested that the widely publicized mystery of the flying saucers may soon be solved.
11:08Army Air Force officers reported that one of the strange discs had been found and inspected sometime last week.
11:14Our correspondents in Los Angeles and Chicago have been in contact with Army officials endeavoring to obtain all possible late information.
11:20Joe Wilson reports to us now from Chicago.
11:22The Army may be getting to the bottom of all this talk about the so-called flying saucers.
11:29As a matter of fact, the 509th Atomic Bomb Group headquarters at Roswell, New Mexico,
11:34reports that it has received one of the discs which landed on a ranch outside Roswell.
11:40The disc landed at a ranch at Corona, New Mexico, and the rancher turned it over to the airport.
11:46Rancher W.W. Brezel was the man who discovered the saucer.
11:49Colonel William Blanchard of the Roswell Air Base refuses to give details of what the flying disc looks like.
11:55In Fort Worth, Texas, where the object was first sent,
11:59Brigadier General Roger Ramey says that it is being shipped by air to the AAF Research Center at Wright Field, Ohio.
12:05A few moments ago, I talked to officials at Wright Field,
12:08and they declared that they expect the so-called flying saucer to be delivered there,
12:13but that it hasn't arrived as yet.
12:14In the meantime, General Ramey describes the object as being of flimsy construction, almost like a box type.
12:21He says that it was so battered that he was unable to determine whether it had a disc form,
12:26and he does not indicate its size.
12:28Ramey says that so far as can be determined, no one saw the object in the air,
12:33and he describes it as being made of some sort of tinfoil.
12:36Other Army officials say that further information indicates that the object had a diameter of about 20 to 25 feet,
12:43and that nothing in the apparent construction indicated any capacity for speed,
12:48and that there was no evidence of a power plant.
12:50The disc also appeared too flimsy to carry a man.
12:53All right, batters, that's it for today's video.
12:58I hope you enjoyed it.
13:00I will put links in the description.
13:01Go check out the National Archives' new files, see what you can find.
13:05But this one particular bombshell is quite interesting,
13:08and I think it just sheds light on a lot of things people often say,
13:12oh, that's not possible.
13:13They wouldn't do that.
13:14But, yeah, well, here's proof that they do try to hide things that cover up and circumvent the proper chains of command,
13:24and people do hide documents in their basements,
13:27and, you know, I don't know if we'll ever get to the truth, y'all.
13:31But at least we'll try.
13:34All right, batters, we'll see you in the next one.
13:35Remember, every day's a gift, y'all.
