00:00Being a drug dealer is hard work.
00:01You've got to know who's got your money,
00:03who you owe money to.
00:05You've got to make sure the guys that you're around are loyal
00:07because they're the same guys that are going to kill you,
00:10will be your best friends.
00:11It's a hard life and I had to listen, listen, listen
00:15and learn so that when I got in the conversation,
00:18I didn't mess it up, you know,
00:19because I didn't want to mess them up or mess up the case.
00:23Yes, you always learn about the life.
00:25Yeah, constantly trying to figure it out
00:27and then trying to know how to talk about it
00:29in a way that they could understand, you know.
00:31When you buy certain types of pills,
00:32I remember buying from, there was this old man,
00:35he was very famous in Washington.
00:38He had done something with baseball back years before
00:40and now he was in his 70s and he was selling drugs.
00:44And nobody believed he was selling drugs,
00:45but we knew he was selling drugs.
00:47And so I was able to get a deal with him
00:50and he invited me over to his house to do the deal.
00:53And we went in and he had two big Akitas,
00:56you know what an Akita is?
00:56Big, huge dog.
00:57And they're barking the whole time.
01:00And he pulls out pills,
01:02but you have to know what color the pill is.
01:06It has to have the right marking on it.
01:08And it either is a one, a two, a three, or a four.
01:12And you need to know what you're buying
01:13because they're all different prices.
01:15So in that deal, it was critical.
01:17In order for me to not get eaten by the Akitas,
01:20I had to make sure I knew exactly what I was doing
01:22so I could do the deal
01:23and I was able to do the deal and get out of the house.
01:25Thank you.
