00:00I just think I'm a locker room guy.
00:02That's something that I think I'm really bringing to the table.
00:04I love to have a good time with my guys, really motivate my guys,
00:08really just be a good teammate.
00:09I think if you're a good teammate, you're a good locker room guy,
00:12a lot of stuff will take care of yourself on the field.
00:14What do you know about Steve McNeer?
00:16I think I know a decent amount about Steve McNeer.
00:19I'm blessed to be in a situation like he was, to have an expectation like that.
00:25But at the end of the day, I want to be the greatest to do it.
00:27I'm not looking up to no man, I want everybody to look up to me.
00:29So I'm honored to be here, and I'm just ready to know that,
00:33and happy that I'm the quarterback for the Tennessee Titans.
00:36I knew I would get drafted pretty high.
00:37I think I'm one of the best players in this draft.
00:38I'm deserving, you know, this honor.
00:41But at the end of the day, drafting don't mean nothing.
00:42It's all about how you produce on the field, you know,
00:44the type of teammate you are in the locker room.
00:47And at the end of the day, it's about wins.
00:48Wins judge everything, and as a quarterback,
00:49you got to go, you know, put on for it every Sunday.
00:52Yeah, I had a chance to touch base with Lockett and Ridley.
00:56Those are two unbelievable rock runs in the NFL,
00:58and I'm just glad it was my first year.
01:00Those are people I can throw the ball to.
01:02So, you know, hey, they surround me with some good weapons,
01:05and I just think, you know, I'm ready to get to work with those guys
01:07so we get our timing down come season.
01:09I just think just how I represent myself, how I want to represent myself.
01:13I think the biggest thing is that I don't care what the outside world thinks of me.
01:16The only opinion that matters to me is myself in the building in my locker room.
01:20And so that's who I am on the football field.
01:23I'm a gunslinger.
01:23That's who I'll always be.
01:24And so I'm excited to, you know, get to Nashville soon.
01:27Well, that's going to mean a lot, especially those are the top quarterbacks in the NFL right now.
01:32Eventually, I want to get up there and be one of the top quarterbacks.
01:35But I'm excited, you know, to eventually play against, you know, Pat,
01:39who's won a couple of Super Bowls, Lamar, who goes to the playoffs every year,
01:42Josh Allen as well.
01:43So the league is filled with great quarterbacks.
01:45And, you know, I'm glad that, you know, eventually I'll be one of the better ones as well.
01:49Looking forward to it a lot.
01:51What I did previously in my first three schools, I just think a lot of it translates over,
01:56especially once I started watching film with Coach Callahan and the GM.
02:00I just think it'll be plug and play like it was in Miami.
02:03Big Morgan Wallen guy.
02:05Last night, probably my number one, my number one song by him.
02:09I, like, love somebody.
02:11And the last one, I can't remember what it was.
02:16I had to go through my spot if I played with this.
02:18But Morgan Wallen, he cool.
02:21Last question.
02:23My old OC at Washington State, Ben Arbuckle, who's at Oklahoma, he put me on.
02:28We started doing it one practice at Wazoo.
02:31The next thing you know, you know, the defense get an intercept shot off of me.
02:34And so then they started hitting it.
02:36So that's when I knew it would take off.
02:38I've been hitting, you know, my second season at Wazoo.
02:42And then I went to Miami and it just blew up.
02:44And so, you know, I'm grateful for that celebration.
02:47You know, at least it inspires the kids some way.
02:49You know, that's what I put on this earth to do.
