00:00Bradford City manager Graeme Alexander is hoping to have a fully fit squad for their final few games in the League 2 season in which they are looking to remain within the top three and seal automatic promotion back to League 1. The squad has been hit by a bout of injuries and illness of late.
00:18That character and personality again today and I thought they showed that and we said we'll be tested at all times and it's only decisions you make that directs your behaviour and I saw players out there that should have given everything to get the win but I think we need to get a little bit smarter at times and just more clinical and take more care in the final third.
00:42It does yeah, it's a sore one because of the nature of the time and the equaliser and how well we play for large parts but we have to take it on the chin, we have to stay positive looking into the next two games.
00:54Like you say, the opportunity is still there, it's still in our hands to take what we believe can be ours so we have to be as good as we were for the first 60 or 70 minutes today and fingers crossed we can have a fully fit squad or as near to it as possible.
01:10You know, we've lost players just after half time to illness, other lads through cramping up and stuff like that so hopefully those lads will be in good shape next week because, you know, we need them.
01:22And finally, Leeds United head coach Daniel Farker has commented on Harry Gray's debut for the first team.
01:28Well, the day was more or less made for it, I couldn't paint a better picture if I'm honest but to be honest, I've spoken about this topic already several times, there are no gifts and he was not on the pitch just because his last name is Gray or just because he's young and from our academy.
01:44Sometimes managers like to throw a player onto the pitch in order to prove that they are also brave enough to believe in the use but it's really one of the cornerstones of our philosophy.
01:56Of course, we need to add some quality players but also our academy and to develop our own talents is pretty, pretty important.
02:03And I don't like to praise a young lad too early too much anyhow and I'm not willing today to sing his high praise but we believe in his potential.
