00:30We're going to start in Kiel, then Portsmouth, Cartagena, Genova
00:33before the finish in Bocca Bay, Montenegro in the eastern Mediterranean
00:37That's going to start on the 10th of August and it's only 8 months away
00:41And once this racing season gets underway, there is so much coming up
00:45The summer after that will be the Ocean Race Atlantic
00:49A dash between New York and Barcelona
00:52And then a few months after that, we go around the world
00:56with the Ocean Race starting in January 2027
00:59The race has never been like this before
01:02Multiple events, back to back
01:04In a normal world, in winter, your racing yacht would be out of the water
01:13wrapped up against the elements and taking a very well-deserved rest
01:16But for the Amokas, that doesn't happen
01:18At the moment, they're down in the southern ocean, sailing in the Vendee Globe
01:22And as soon as that finishes, they're going to switch into fully crewed mode
01:25For the Ocean Race Europe and beyond
01:28So all of our skippers are going to need to build a team of four
01:32And where are you going to find those sailors?
01:34From the rest of the fleet
01:35And right now, they're already starting to look
01:38We have eight teams entered so far for the Ocean Race Europe
01:42Team Milizia, Team Holson PRB, Team Paprek Arkea
01:45Vulnerable, Canada Ocean Racing
01:47Plus another three teams waiting for their official naming
01:50We know the skippers, but this is going to be crewed racing
01:54So each team leader is right now trying to grab other top names to complete their line-up
02:00The transfer window is open
02:03And for every team looking to do the Ocean Race Europe, the Ocean Race Atlantic
02:07And of course, our round-the-world flagship, the Ocean Race
02:10They're going to be looking now for their potential teammates
02:13In every single office, there will be a list of potential sailors
02:17And it will move and shuffle with every update from the Vendee Globe tracker
02:21If your team of the Ocean Race Europe proves to be a good one
02:24You'll want to keep it intact
02:26Because next up will be our transatlantic dash
02:29New York to Barcelona
02:31In just about every edition, it's been this 2,000 nautical mile stretch of water
02:36With the wind and the waves at your back
02:38Which has seen speed records smashed
02:40If you want to write your name in history
02:43And prove to everyone what you and your boat can do
02:46The Ocean Race Atlantic, starting the summer of 2026
02:49Will be the perfect runway for our high-performance foilers
02:53And we're pretty confident that new records will be established
02:57Right now in the Vendee Globe, there's a lot of familiar faces
03:00Charlie Dallin, he's leading the race
03:02And he, of course, won the last edition of the Ocean Race
03:04With the 11th Hour Racing Team
03:06Johan Rochon, winner of the Ocean Race Europe
03:08In the VO65, currently in second place
03:11And all of these top skippers here
03:13Have been putting in really impressive 24-hour runs
03:16Nico Lundgren, then Johan Rochon
03:18But then finally, Sebastian Simon got over 600 nautical miles in 24 hours
03:24Now that's solo
03:25Imagine what these sailors are going to be able to do
03:27With their brand new edition of Mokkas
03:30In a fully crewed race
03:32And right now, they've still got quite a long way to go
03:35They are just about getting down to Point Nemo
03:39One of the most remote places on the planet
03:41And also down there, they've got some of the scientific equipment
03:45That we at the Ocean Race have had a hand in developing
03:47And they're monitoring and reporting back
03:50All sorts of information
03:51That the scientific community can really use
03:54In the last edition of the Ocean Race
03:56Our teams found high concentrations of plastics
03:58From things like clothing and fishing gear
04:01In some of the most remote corners of the world
04:03Just where the Vendee Globe is at the moment
04:06And it's quite something that the technology allows our teams
04:09While doing 25 to 35 knots
04:12To analyse plastic as small as 0.03 millimetres
04:17Next summer, they'll be using this technology closer to home
04:20During the Ocean Race Europe
04:22Gathering scientific data while darting around the coast
04:24Looking for maximum speed
04:26Last month, our host cities and our teams were here in Alicante
04:30Checking in with race control
04:31Getting ready to bring us three great events
04:34And our host cities are ready
04:36They're ready to welcome the teams
04:37They're ready to welcome the fans
04:39And our boats are getting faster by the mile
04:42And they will be fully crewed
04:43And taken to their limit
04:44By some of the best sailors in the world
04:46And we'll be ready
04:47To bring you three great events
04:49Back to back
04:50We'll see you in August
04:51I'll see you in August
