00:00So, of course, this is the final season.
00:02I also hear that there is a three-year time jump.
00:05So how does that change the dynamic of where we pick up?
00:09So there's a three-year time jump.
00:11We meet Joe and Kate in New York.
00:14They've been married.
00:15They are married.
00:16And they have adopted or, like, re-found Joe's son, Henry.
00:22So they're parents.
00:24Kate's running the company in New York, her father's company.
00:27And so, yeah, so they're kind of in, they're, like, on top suddenly.
00:31They've been in the shadows.
00:32And they've been having quite a kind of stressful time in London.
00:35And now they're really just, like, thriving.
00:37And Joe is himself again.
00:38And he's using his own name.
00:40And so they're kind of back to New York, back to kind of, he's sort of in his element.
00:44But it can obviously only last them all.
00:46What did you think when you first read the final scripts?
00:49Do you think that Joe gets an appropriate ending?
00:55I do.
00:56I think, yes, I do.
00:58But I really think it's hard.
01:00I don't know how you're supposed to conclude a life like that.
01:03Like, his life is so, the things he's done are so abhorrent.
01:06The depths of his depravity.
01:10It's hard to know what you do, whether, like, I don't know.
01:14I was just about to say the ending.
01:17Listen, we're all ears.
01:20Yeah, I don't know.
01:21I think so.
01:22I think he does.
01:22But I think there's multiple ways in which you would want to see the end of that character.
01:27And all of them in some ways would fit.
01:28I'm really pleased with this one, I think.
01:30Yeah.
01:31What are you going to miss the most about having Penn as a scene partner?
01:34Oh, I'm going to miss hanging out with him.
01:37And I really enjoy his company.
01:39He's really funny, despite how kind of thoughtful and, like, sincere he can be and how awful he is as Joe.
01:46And, like, he's a fantastic actor.
01:47But he is as lovely as Joe, as awful.
01:50He's also got so much lightness in him.
01:52And he's such good company.
01:53And he's really funny.
01:55So I'll miss that.
01:56Yeah.
01:56And he's all the way over here.
01:57So I don't know how often I'll see him.
01:59And his family's lovely.
02:00So, yeah, I'll miss that.
02:01But for sure, nice to be reunited tonight.
02:04I also wanted to ask, I know there's a little bit of a debate going on on who Joe's most iconic love interest is.
02:11But who do you think, I think it's up for debate, for sure.
02:15But who do you think would be his best match had he not been an obsessive serial killer?
02:21Oh, wow.
02:22There's something in, there's something in, maybe it's between, maybe it's between Marianne and Bronte.
02:33Something about their, like, soulfulness that is, he has interests and leanings that are sensitive.
02:42And he's got, if he was not who he was, he might be, like, a kind of soft person, strangely.
02:48And his interests might chime with them.
02:50But he's not.
02:51He's a bad guy, so he doesn't deserve any of them.
02:54And finally, I know that this show does take obsession to the extreme.
02:58But I wanted to know for you, what is your current healthy obsession?
03:01Oh, healthy obsession.
03:02Oh, I would say, and this is really, I guess it's too much to say, but I would say being, hugging for longer than a couple of seconds is good for your nervous system.
03:18So this is my, but I rarely, like, you have to be careful, you have to do it with the right people.
03:22Not everybody wants it.
03:23And then it could be, like, bad.
03:25Because they're, like, you can feel that they're, like, please get off me, which is a bad feeling.
03:28So I think that's a big one, yeah.
03:31And sleep, napping, and napping as often as I can.
03:34Oh, I'm a big napper.
03:35That's a great obsession.
03:36It's really great.
