00:00It's a big night. It's the final season that's coming out. You play twins in this. What was that like?
00:06Oh my god, what a huge, amazing acting challenge. One of the biggest ones I've ever had.
00:11I've grown up watching other actors play twins and I've always been excited by that.
00:16How do they do that? How does it work on the day?
00:19It was just really thrilling to get to play two very completely different women.
00:24And then on top of that, have scenes with myself was really, I mean, such a...
00:30And watching it when I finally got to see the screeners, I mean, I kind of was like...
00:35I was proud of myself. I was like, that seems like two different people in the rooms together.
00:41So yeah, it was great. It was really cool.
00:42What would you say was the most technically challenging part that you had to work through?
00:47The most technically challenging probably, and I owe it a lot to my double named Sarah Hellbringer.
00:54She played myself on the other side, so she would watch what I did in scenes.
00:59So if I pick up a wine glass on a line, she would study me and watch me.
01:04So therefore, when we turned around on me as the other character and we were like shooting behind her,
01:10she would pick up the wine glass at the exact same time so everything would match.
01:14So we really had to have a dialogue together to make the performances seem seamless and cohesive.
01:22Because if one person was off, the shot wouldn't work ultimately in the end.
01:26So it needed to be a real collaboration.
01:30When it's just me technically on the screen, it's still very much her too.
01:35And a lot of like choreography, I would assume.
01:37A lot of choreography, a lot of just us paying attention.
01:39We didn't get directed to do that, by the way.
01:41We just came up with that on our own.
01:44So it was pretty cool.
01:44And I was like, you're amazing.
01:46I want her to work forever.
01:47She's a genius.
01:49Well, I know a lot of people wondering about the ending.
01:51Do you think fans will be satisfied with Joe's ending in this show?
01:56I hope that they are.
01:57I really hope that they are.
01:59When I read it, I felt very, very, very satisfied.
02:03Um, but they, it's you.
02:05There is a twist.
02:07There could be a twist.
02:08We don't know.
02:08You know?
02:09So we'll see how people feel.
02:12When I read it, I felt very satisfied.
02:13I'll say that.
02:14How would you describe Penn as a scene partner?
02:17Just the worst.
02:18No, I'm kidding.
02:19It was so nice to come on to a show that's already so established and so liked.
02:24And it's such a big hit.
02:26And of course, I felt a little intimidated coming in as like a newbie.
02:29Um, but then how much of a wonderful leader he is.
02:33Um, it's a calm environment.
02:35It's a creative environment.
02:36It's collaborative.
02:37It's safe, especially with the subject matter.
02:39If a different actor was playing this part, it wouldn't feel so safe, maybe.
02:43So every day felt safe and wonderful and creative.
02:46And that starts at the top.
02:48And he set the bar very high.
02:49So I felt very lucky to get to work with him.
02:51And very quickly, I know you're joining Scream 7.
02:54What's been the highlight of that so far?
02:56Oh my God.
02:57I mean, it's a total full circle moment for me because the first movie I ever went on
03:02a date with a boy to a movie theater was Scream 1.
03:06You're kidding.
03:07And I was like, oh, I'm so scared.
03:08And I'm like holding on to him and being like, oh, help me, save me.
03:11So to be on set and to be like looking at Neve Campbell in the face and talking to Courtney
03:17Cox and going, oh my God.
03:20And like talking to Kevin Williamson, like, um, who directed this one.
03:24I was just like, I couldn't believe it was real.
03:27I feel so grateful.
03:28And it was such a pinch me moment and such a career highlight.
03:31And I know that people are going to love it because it's terrifying.
03:35It's so terrifying.
03:37And you tell your first date, look at me now.
03:40I know I could say his name and shout him out, but I'm not.
03:44But I know his name.
03:45I do know his name.
