00:18which isn't actually that diverse at all. At one point, instead of saying her actual age,
00:24one woman just says, elder millennial. Given that that describes the ages of most of the women on
00:29the team, it's odd that she wouldn't just say the number, but it seems to be the quirkified millennial
00:33tone in which she says this that took Jen's ears out. The video has since been taken down from their
00:38page. The earliest known repost was shared by TikToker CakeAndMe1 on February 28th in a ranking
00:43millennial cringe compilation. But when did it go from cringe viral video to full-on meme?
00:51In mid-April, the video would start to get more attention as reposts would start to appear,
00:55like this one from BrandonWTP1, who added in text overlay that she should just say 50.
01:00Reenactments and parodies of the video would also start to emerge in droves,
01:04as TikTokers love a viral video they can try to emulate with 100% accuracy.

01:12And then of course, popular Twitch streamer Jinxy's version also garnered a huge amount of
01:16attention. But is the clip really that cringe? She has had some TikTokers jumping in to defend
01:30her, namely pointing to the fact that she got her whole derby team to laugh along with her,
01:34even if the rest of the world seems to be laughing at her.
01:36This could be a niche reference, but that joke was not meant for us.
01:39It's also possible that she was making a reference to comedian Eliza Schlesinger's 2018 Netflix special
01:43of the same name. Maybe they all watched it together the night before.
