00:00We're going to start with a crazy story out of West Virginia
00:10where a police officer allegedly shot his sergeant.
00:17Why?
00:18His sergeant wanted his wiener
00:21and this cop didn't want to be a part of it.
00:25And when he made a move on him one night at a bar,
00:29he shot the dude.
00:31Took it. Took it all the way, huh?
00:33Didn't just say no.
00:35Sergeant, no means no.
00:36Yeah.
00:38Here's the story from WAVY-TV.
00:40Take a listen.
00:43Would you like to hear it?
00:44I'd love to hear it.
00:45For the first time, Jason Rusk is hearing the 911 call his son made
00:49in the early morning hours of January 25th.
00:52I shot Sergeant Gibson.
00:56Do what?
00:57I shot Sergeant Gibson.
01:02I pulled a gun on him.
01:04Can you f***ing have been sick of me?
01:07Is he breathing?
01:09He's just so loud.
01:11James City County Police Officer Michael Rusk called 911
01:14one after he allegedly shot his superior officer,
01:17Sergeant Christopher Gibson,
01:19outside a Williamsburg bar where the two had been drinking together.
01:23Video given exclusively to 10 on your side shows the two officers before this happened.
01:28Jason Rusk says his son told him about unwanted attention he got from his superior officer leading up to the shooting,
01:49and that he had reported it to others dead and the years worth of grooming that had taken place.
01:54The video shows the officers at the bar prior to the shooting.
01:57You can see them sitting across from each other at the start.
02:00Then you'll see Gibson move in to sit next to Rusk.
02:03Gibson reaches for Rusk's hand under the table, which seems to be met with hesitation from the younger officer.
02:09Then, just about an hour before the shooting, the two are seen leaving together.
02:13After Gibson puts his hand on Rusk's shoulder, you see Rusk forcefully push him off and put a finger in his face before walking away.
02:22We don't know what happened next, but after the shooting, Rusk makes this claim to the 911 dispatcher.
02:28I told him this is how he kept going.
02:31I didn't get a f***ing raise me.
02:34Help me.
02:35He definitely did not want his advances.
02:38He was very clear in the video.
02:40Yes, that is the thing.
02:41He was a sergeant, too.
02:44It makes it so tricky.
02:45It's different.
02:46Oh, yeah.
02:46No, it's a very uncomfortable situation.
02:50But you think you're getting drinks with him.
02:54Yeah.
02:54I don't know.
02:55I don't either.
02:56I mean, I feel like you'd...
02:57It's going to be swearing.
03:00Yeah, I don't know.
03:01I would think they would edit it on their website.
03:04Yeah, that's the news.
03:05I would think.
03:06Get ready.
03:07We'll see.
03:08We'll see.

04:05Do what?
04:07I shot Sergeant Gibson.
04:10I hate this dispatcher.
04:11Yeah, well.

04:14Do what?
04:15Yes.
04:16How did you do that?
04:17Let me see.
04:17Let me see.
04:18Let me see.
04:19Sergeant Gibson.
04:19I pulled a gun and I'm like, can you?
04:24I'm advancing on me.
04:28And you're inside.
04:31Okay, I need you to take a deep breath for me, okay?
04:34Is he breathing?
04:35I'm crying.
04:36He's not going in an emergency.
04:37Is he breathing?
04:38No.
04:38This is not who I want to sign to show up to save my life.
04:42No.
04:43I'm sorry, but if I'm getting robbed.
04:45Where are you at in Paul's Deli?
04:47No.
04:51I do not feel safe with this police force.
04:53Who are you talking about?
04:54Jesus.
04:55I'm going to call it that.
04:55I have all of it.
04:56Are they doing this for y'all?
04:59Have they started?
05:02And the guy answered the phone.
05:03The dispatcher?
05:04I can't tell.
05:06What?
05:07I do what?
05:07Where?
05:08Number one.
05:09Why are you telling me enough?
05:11Do you see any ranfers, officers?
05:12Are you in the deli?
05:14Where are you in the deli?
05:16What sandwich are you eating?
05:17Where?
05:17He might as well have said that.
05:19You're in Paul's Deli?
05:20Did you see the Wayansburg officers?
05:22Three sandwiches.
05:23Paul?
05:24This guy's just weird.
05:25Sir.
05:27You can get me pastrami on rye.
05:29Yeah.
05:29Where in the deli?
05:30Paul's.
05:31Who cares?
05:31He's at Paul's.
05:32He said where he's at.
05:33Yeah.
05:34I mean, I get it too.
05:36Like, someone's just screaming bloody murder, and you're like trying to figure out what's
05:41going on.
05:41Are you behind the counter at Paul's Deli?
05:43Are you serving up the corned beef?
05:45Yeah.
05:46Paul stressed me out.
05:47Oh, my God.

06:07Oh, man.
06:08Huh?
06:08Yeah.
06:08Are they out of that tater salad?
06:09Because that's some good stuff.
06:10Give me a quart.
06:11That's a bad one.
06:12Oh!
06:14Yeah.
06:14It's not the comm officer, as you say, you'd want showing up on the scene.
06:18No.
06:18Officer, quick.
06:19My buddy's been shot.
06:21Where?
06:21Right there.
