00:00Hi, it's DHA's Rock and Rough, and I am Terry Carr. I'm here with my old friend Sonny Knoll from the Randolph Regional Animal Shelter, who brought like the most well-behaved, sweetest guy. This is Jack Pot. We've been calling him Jack. He's such a good pup, son. Tell me a little bit about Jack. How did you guys get him? He came from another shelter in Patterson?
00:22Yeah, he was found as a stray in Patterson, so we don't know about his background, but we do know he's very calm. He loves other dogs. We think he's about a year and a half old. He's a mixed breed. He's only about 45 pounds, so he's a nice medium size. He's tiny, yeah. He likes treats. He likes the cookie crumbs on the floor. That's why I'm trying to like move and let him get his crumbs. He loves to kiss. He's just a really, really sweet guy. The thing that I was most amazed by is he's such a well-behaved
00:52dog, especially like a dog that just got let out of the kennel. Sometimes they have a little bit of their, you know, their crazies when they get to our studios and stuff, but he so well-behaved, sitting for treats, greeting people, just a really, really nice guy. You said he has an active side too. He does. Once he's in play mode, he loves to play with sticks and toys. He'll get the zoomies and he, you know, likes to run around real fast, but he's typically a pretty calm, mellow guy. I think he sees the treats over there and he's very, very into them. 01:52Of all sizes, he would love to have a canine companion. Of course, a proper introduction is always necessary. 02:15Isn't he so awesome? He's just such a cute, sweet guy. He's very curious about everything going on here at WDHA. I love his size and he's just such a neat dog. He's just like a neat dog to have around. And I'm surprised that you still have him at the shelter. How long has he been with you guys, Sunny?
02:32He's been with us for about two months and I don't think people realize what a nice size he is. In his photos, he looks like a big giant dog. He does. Really not. And he really is an easy dog. This is a really great boy.
02:46Now you guys always have a lot of success too with Foster to Adopt. Would he be a Foster to Adopt option for somebody?
02:52Absolutely. Take him home, see how he does, see if he fits into your lifestyle. If he does, he's yours. If not, we'll find somebody else who fits you.
