00:00Meanwhile, a magnitude 6.3 earthquake stuck on the coast of Davao Occidental at 6.17 earlier this evening.
00:07According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, or FIVOX,
00:12the tectonic quake's epicenter was located approximately 295 kilometers southeast of Sarangani Island, Sarangani Town, in Davao Occidental.
00:23Intensity 3, where shaking was felt at Malungon, Sarangani, and General Santos City, South Cotabato,
00:29while Intensity 2 was reported in Tupi and Coronadal City in South Cotabato and Kiamba, Sarangani.
00:37As of now, there have been no reports of damage or casualties, and no tsunami warning has been issued.
00:43But FIVOX continues to monitor the situation and advises the public to stay alert for possible aftershocks.
