Taiwan's "TechWorld" pavilion at this year's World Expo in Osaka is turning heads. Since opening earlier in April, it has brought in tens of thousands of visitors.
Transcript
00:00This is TechWorld, town's pavilion at Expo 2025, a world fair that aims to promote creativity, sustainability and cultural exchanges.
00:08It is just one of the dozens of unique pavilions here at the event.
00:11TechWorld's architecture was designed around the motif Mountains of the Heart, inspired by town's towering mountains.
00:18The outside of the building is made out of recycled metal panels, folded and cut to look like winding mountain ridges.
00:24During the day, the panels reflect the sunlight and at night, they let the light shine through inside.
00:30The pavilion has already attracted around 40,000 visitors since it opened on April 13.
00:35Its official opening ceremony will be held on Tuesday afternoon.
00:38Thanks to P.T. Zhuang and Sainichi in Osaka for Taiwan Plus.
