00:00Now, as far as on the downside here, not everything is rosy for some fantasy owners this past week.
00:06Let's talk about the Baltimore Orioles.
00:08Adley Rutschman, who I know that we're still assuming is going to be a superstar-type catcher.
00:14And look, if you look at his numbers the last couple of years, he's coming on.
00:17But look, the catching position is just so demanding.
00:201-11, one home run, two runs driven in.
00:23And needless to say, a little bit of a disappointing week.
00:26Yeah, disappointing week for him.
00:28And kind of the Orioles overall, where they're scoring a ton of runs, then they're not scoring any.
00:32They're scoring a ton of runs, and now they're not.
00:33And it was a slow start for various players in their lineup.
00:37I would be more inclined, if I had to put a name on it, that Rutschman is an all-star, but maybe not a superstar, if that makes sense.
00:45Where, as you said, the catching position is so demanding that I think his numbers will be good, and they'll be consistent.
00:50But he may not be that superstar level that we kind of saw from him when he first broke out.
00:55So, I'm still encouraged by Rutschman, but I wouldn't, like, I wouldn't be selling out to get him if you were in a dynasty situation.
01:03All right.
01:03Well, the hottest player on the Angels the last few weeks, of course, was Mike Trout.
01:07Finally, Trout has cratered a little bit back to earth.
01:10Nothing I don't think, Tom, to worry about in particular.
01:13Everyone's going to have good weeks and bad weeks.
01:15Just a bad week, I think, for him.
01:17Yeah, it was a bad week for him.
01:18Kind of slow week for the offense overall.
01:20That series versus the Rangers, they scored, what, four runs over the total in the three games?
01:24I think if you drafted Trout this year in a redraft league, you knew anything was possible, right?
01:30You knew the injury risk was there.
01:32You knew his numbers weren't going to be as good as they were in years past.
01:35You should have been ready, I should say.
01:36Maybe you didn't know, but you should have been ready for anything.
01:39I think the power will be consistent for Trout.
01:42The average won't be.
01:43Like, we're going to see him hit some home runs, as we have seen to start the year.
01:46But his average will not be as high as we're traditionally used to see.
01:50And finally, Xander Bogart, so the San Diego Padres, Tom, was given a few years ago that mega deal by the Padres.
01:57It has not worked out, to say the least.
01:58He hasn't hit a home run yet, I don't believe, this season.
02:02167, just one stolen base.
02:03I got to tell you, I am surprised.
02:05I did not think that Bogart's career would go this far south as it has in San Diego.
02:11And the reason why, I guess, no one really talks about it all that often is because, I mean, especially in the game, you know, generally speaking, the Padres are really good.
02:20And everybody else around him is really good.
02:22So they've been able to sort of mask this.
02:24But, I mean, there's just no getting out of it.
02:26His ADP has fallen the last few years.
02:28And, you know, for good reason, no matter where they play him.
02:31Yeah, and like you said, there's a lot of different team factors.
02:34Obviously, there's always been a ton of storylines with Tatis.
02:36And then they bring up Jackson Merrill, who was awesome last year.
02:39They signed him to this contract.
02:40In fact, there's always Machado there.
02:42Arise is, you know, going to be hitting a million singles.
02:45So, like, there is other – I should say there are other storylines that prevents him from being the headline.
02:50But I wouldn't be too worried about Xander.
02:52The power won't be there anymore, but that offense is too good to pass up.
