00:00Mr. President, thank you for your warm welcome. Thank you for this occasion, which is a
00:06April 17th. And April 17th marks the anniversary of the agreement that allowed Cristoforo Colombo
00:20to make his trip. And I say to remember our pensions are our ties, but also to remind that
00:28we both share another fight, which is the fight against the war and ADI ideology that would
00:36like to erase our history. And as I know that we share lots of things on tackling illegal
00:44migration, on fighting against synthetic drugs. You know, Italy has been one of the nations
00:51that made a plan against fentanyl, for example. But we have been talking about many bilateral
01:01topics and things that we can do together about defense, about economic, about economy, about
01:11energy. Italy will have to increase its LNG imports. And also nuclear that we are trying
01:22to develop. I think there can be ways to work together. And the Italian enterprises will invest,
01:32as they've been doing for many years. As you know, in the next year is, I think, around
01:3810 billion. That shows how interconnected our economies are. And that's very important,
01:44Mr. President. It's not only about Italy, it's about the entire Europe. The exchange between
01:50us is a very big one. Investments that we are discussing in this week. But at the end of
02:01the day, look, somebody calls me, I was saying it before, such a Western nationalism, I don't
02:06know if it is the right word. But I know that when I speak about West mainly, I don't speak about
02:12a geographical space. I speak about the civilization. And I want to make that civilization stronger. So I
02:19think even if we have some problems, okay, between the two shores of the Atlantic, it is the time that
02:26we try to sit down and find solutions. So I want to thank President Trump for having accepted an invitation to
02:35to pay an official visit to Rome in the near future and consider a possibility in that occasion to
02:42meet also with Europe. The goal for me is to make the West great again. Okay? And I think we can do it
02:49together. We can. And we will keep on working on that. I'm going to close. I want to say only I'm proud of
02:58sitting here as Prime Minister of Italy that today, as very good, as a very good situation, despite the
03:07difficulties, a stable country, really reliable country, one million more jobs in the last two
03:13years and a half. Great. Inflation is going down. So you forgive me if I promote a bit my country, but
03:21you're a businessman and you understand me. So migration flows going down 60%. So we are trying to
03:28do our best, but I think we can do it even better together. Also in Ukraine, I will close.
03:33Together, we've been defending the freedom of Ukraine. Together, we can build a trust and last
03:36in peace. We support your efforts, Donald. Good. Thank you very much. And I think we're doing well.
