00:00In a somewhat contradictory manner, Donald Trump also, as well as ramping up the tariffs against China, praises President Xi and describes him as a good friend.
00:10Do you feel that President Xi might see Donald Trump in the same way in any case?
00:17Not at all. I think, you know, fool me once, shame on me, right? Fool me twice, it's probably not going to happen.
00:23I think if you hear the some of the policy advisors, you know, at the higher level, you hear them talk about the takeaways that the Chinese leaders have since the first Trump administration.
00:39They believe that Donald Trump is not credible. They believe that he could easily rename on anything he said.
00:46He's, you know, his words does not, his words do not match with his actions.
00:51So those are some of the lessons that these leaders have learned, I think, from the first term of Trump's administration.
00:59They also talk about other lessons, which is that Trump is going to continue to have a hostile stance with China.
01:08Trump is going to double down with the confrontations on the economic front and possibly, you know, other fronts against China.
01:16So China needs to be prepared. This is the second lesson that they learn, right?
