00:00I remember sketching cars as long as I could hold a crayon. I have always dreamed of being a car
00:07designer. I, funny enough, don't really consider myself an artist. I think that art is the tool
00:13that a designer uses to convey his message, to bring thought and feeling to a design. I got to
00:21be an intern and I worked on some Ram production stuff and then for Dodge I did an interior theme
00:27for a sports car. The Halcyon has been a dream come true. That's really the beauty of working
00:32here at Stellantis is that I was a seat designer and when projects like this come up it's open to
00:37the whole studio and really it just opened a whole bunch of doors and just became a you know project
00:43of a lifetime. The interior theme was kind of based around this idea of like a cabin in the woods and
00:50just being able to really bring the outside in and so the giant glass window was something I had
00:56very early on. I appreciate that no two days are ever alike. There's always a new problem to solve
01:02and a new thing to accomplish and watching some of my colleagues that have been in the industry for 20,
01:0730, 40 years and they still have such a passion for it, it just gets me excited about the future of my
01:14career here. Automotive design is absolutely one of the most interesting things that you can put your
01:21skills to. Anybody that loves problem solving, loves artistry, loves being a part of a community,
01:27like this is the place to be. If you're not looking at it please do because there's so much more to it
01:34than than what you think and it's just so much more rewarding to see that talent go to something that
01:40really does impact people.
