Raipur (Chhattisgarh), April 16, 2025 (ANI): While speaking on ED chargesheet against Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in National Herald case, Chhattisgarh Deputy CM Arun Sao asserted that corrupt ones will not be spared. He further said, “There were 5,000 shareholders in the National Herald including big stalwarts and freedom fighters. In 2008, National Herald stopped publication and Congress gave it a loan worth Rs 90 crore. Under which law did a political party give a loan like a bank? When National Herald denied the repayment, a new charitable company called Young India was made and all the properties worth Rs thousands of crores were transferred to it from Delhi, Lucknow, Patna, Bhopal... It is a matter of grabbing public properties... The chargesheet has been filed, and the case will be heard in court... Congress has nothing to say, they must tell what charitable work did Young India do?... This is a matter of misappropriation and corruption... The corrupt ones will not be spared...”
