Assam CM attacks Congress over National Herald case, says ‘they must appear before ED’

Guwahati (Assam), April 16, 2025(ANI): Over ED chargesheet against Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in National Herald case, Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "Rahul Gandhi often accuses Adani and Ambani of how they have made so much money. My question is how, being from a political family, he has learnt business tricks to convert Rs 50 lakhs into Rs 2000 crores. Tell us the same formula so that I can do this for Assam.”He added, “Congress people should demand Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to give back this Rs 2000 crore to the party. Have you seen the condition of Congress party offices? People don't realise that Gandhis are minting money but ordinary Congress people are being deprived...Now, both the mother and son should appear before ED and prove their innocence."
