00:00Here we are at Furnace Farm which KWT purchased about 12 months ago and we've now got this
00:06opportunity to connect and further buffer this landscape, this fantastic site, into the wider
00:12landscape around Lamberhurst. Behind me you can hear the River Tees running through, this is the
00:17connecting corridor that runs right through this site, the other direction going to Scotton Castle,
00:22to the west going to Buell Water into the Susster border, there's some ravens shouting just over there as
00:28well which we might be able to hear. Fantastic site for wildlife, fantastic site for people, we're
00:33going to look to progressively rewild this site, low intensity grazing to regenerate the wild flower
00:38meadows, we're going to look to do more work with the river here to allow a bit more floodplain
00:42restoration on these areas of flat wet grounds around this river and ultimately create a site
00:48where wildlife is returning, missing species are returned, this would be a site for pine martens
00:53part of the project CM back in High World but also for people where people can come and
00:58understand the importance of these sites, see them in a new context, be part of this
01:02wildling journey with us. Now time's running out to secure these sites, we are up against
01:07a deadline in which to draw together the funds to buy them, so we're asking you please go on our
01:12website, look at our appeal information and donate. Thank you.
