Would CB/WR Travis Hunter rather not play at all, if he can't play both sides of the ball??! #NFLDraft
Transcript
00:00And Travis Hunter has told Garrett Podell of CBS Sports
00:05that if an NFL team wanted him to commit to playing a single position,
00:10he would rather not play football at all, Wiggy.
00:14All right.
00:16Here's a quote.
00:17It's never playing football again because I've been doing it my whole life
00:22and I love being on the football field.
00:24We have some audio on this, Shime, for they said it.
00:28Am I correct about that?
00:28So Ryan Clark of ESPN is talking about Travis Hunter and said,
00:32if he's not going to play both ways, he's not even worth a top five pick.
00:35Here was Ryan Clark.
00:37If you don't play Travis Hunter on both sides of the football,
00:42you don't need to draft Travis Hunter in the top three.
00:45And I know people are going to kill me for this, but hear me out.
00:48Travis Hunter is not a top three pick as a wide receiver.
00:53Travis Hunter is not Julio Jones.
00:55Travis Hunter is not Randy Moss.
00:57Travis Hunter is not Larry Fitzgerald.
00:59Travis Hunter is not Marvin Harrison.
01:01Travis Hunter is not a top three pick on the defensive side of the ball.
01:05He's not either of the Woodson's pick one.
01:07He's not Charles.
01:08He's not Charles.
01:09He's not Rod.
01:10He's not Deion Sanders.
01:11He's not Champ Bailey.
01:13Those are the sorts of people that you pick that play one position,
01:16one skill position that early in the draft.
01:19He's none of them.
01:20All right.
01:21I agree.
01:22Listen, I agree with Ryan Clark.
01:25I think what's going to happen with Travis Hunter, you're going to draft him,
01:28put him at one position full time, and then you'll sprinkle him in here and there
01:34on the other side.
01:35Is he going to be okay with being sprinkled in?
01:38He's going to have no choice.
01:39Does that comment give you diva vibes, or you just appreciate the fact that he is
01:44passionate about the sport?
01:46I think it's a little bit of him kind of pandering and being like,
01:51ow, I want to play both ways.
01:54If not, he's not going to take his ball and go home because he knows there's nowhere else
01:58to go.
01:59I don't think it's diva.
02:00It's a diva move.
02:00I think that he knows that maybe one team in the top four or five are planning on telling
02:07him that, and so he's putting that out there right now for them to hear him loud and clear.
02:11Yeah.
02:11Okay.
02:11So meaning that there's a team that's saying, you're not coming here and playing both ways
02:16or playing more than one way.
