00:00hello from the bureau with your national weather forecast for tomorrow so that's wednesday the 16th
00:05of april so we'll start off by looking at the weather map for tomorrow now we do have a continuing
00:11onshore flow bringing showers to the east coast while a ridge of high pressure will push up
00:16through the southeast into northern parts bringing much drier air to the interior of queensland and
00:23central australia as well out west this trough will bring some instability with some showers
00:29and storms later in the day there while off the kimberley coast a tropical low that is expected
00:34to develop into a tropical cyclone either today or tomorrow but it is expected to continue moving
00:40slowly westwards away from the mainland so let's move around the country and take a closer look
00:46starting with queensland we've got generally dry and mostly sunny conditions throughout the western
00:52and southern interior with that moderate to major flooding that's occurring through the far west
00:58gradually easing isolated showers about the eastern districts tending more scattered as we
01:04head into that far tropical north and even some isolated storms as we head up towards that
01:10northern peninsula with moderate falls possible for brisbane a partly cloudy day with just the slight
01:16chance of a shower about the coastal suburbs a top of 27 degrees heading down into new south wales
01:23where there's just some isolated showers about the coast and the adjacent ranges but tending more
01:28scattered as we head north of wollongong moving further inland dry and mostly sunny conditions with
01:34daytime temperatures well above average through that far west and also across the south much nearer average
01:41elsewhere for sydney a partly cloudy day with a few showers atop of 23 degrees for canberra mostly sunny and 23
01:49degrees as well then down in victoria there will be some morning fogged patches about the southeast
01:56and the central district with some mid to high level cloud developing throughout the day and even a few
02:02spots of rain about the southwest and central districts with just the bravest of raindrops reaching the ground
02:09for melbourne a top of 27 degrees and a mostly sunny day down in tasmania now isolated showers are possible
02:18right across the state but are most likely throughout western and northern parts for hobart a slight
02:23chance of a shower most likely during the morning then a partly cloudy day a top of 22. up towards
02:30south australia a dry warm and mostly sunny day across the state with daytime temperatures generally
02:37in the low 30s for adelaide a mostly sunny day and a top of 32. over in wa a mostly sunny day but with just
02:46some afternoon cloud developing and even the risk of a shower or storm about eastern parts of the
02:53southwest land division extending further inland for perth a mostly sunny day in a top of 27 degrees
03:01heading up to the tropical north just these typical showers and storms about the coastal fringe most
03:07likely during the afternoon and evening as we head further south however much drier conditions
03:13for darwin a mostly sunny day and a top of 34 degrees for alice springs mostly sunny and 30.
