00:00After her historic campaign at the Miami Open and raising her recent WTA World Ranking to the No. 72 spot,
00:07for the first time in her professional career for Pina Tennis Sensation, Alex Ayala was named the top seed player in the WTA 125 Tournament.
00:17This is also her first tournament after reaching the semifinals of the Miami Open as a wild card,
00:22where she defeated three Grand Slam champions such as Helena Ostapenko, Iga Schwantek and Madison Keyes.
00:30The Rafa Nadal Academy graduate also continues to prepare for her next tournaments such as the WTA 1000 Mutua Madrid Open on April 22 and the WTA 125 in Spain.
00:42Ayala is also scheduled to head to Italy to play the WTA 1000 on May 6th in Rome and the WTA 125 in Parma on May 12th.
