00:06The aircraft carrying Xi and his delegation landed at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport KLIA at approximately 6.48pm.
00:14Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, along with Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Muhammad Hassan,
00:19Transport Minister Anthony Loeb and Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, Ouyang Yu Jing, were present to greet Xi's delegation.
00:27Wisma Putra had said that the visit from April 15th to 17th was at the invitation of the young Dipertuan Agong, His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim.
00:37Accompanied by Cabinet Ministers and senior government officials, Xi was scheduled to meet with Anwar to discuss bilateral cooperation
00:44and exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
00:49The visit was part of Xi's first tour of state visits in 2025, including stops in Vietnam and Cambodia.
00:58Xi's last state visit to Malaysia was in 2013, during which both countries elevated their diplomatic relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership.
