00:01Katie.
00:02I guess I'm the crier of the group.
00:04No, you're not the crier of the group.
00:06I'm the crier of the group.
00:07No, you are not.
00:08I'm going to tell you something right now.
00:09You are officially an astronaut.
00:11Thank you so much.
00:12How do you feel?
00:13I feel super connected to love.
00:16So connected to love.
00:18I think this experience has shown me
00:21you never know how much love is inside of you,
00:24like how much love you have to give
00:27and how loved you are until the day you launch.
00:32We had these incredible shots of Daisy watching you
00:35as the rocket.
00:36It will make me cry.
00:37The rocket's going up and she was so proud.
00:39Just kept saying, mommy, mommy.
00:41And I know you'll feel the same way when you watch it.
00:44And you brought a real life Daisy up.
00:47That's right.
00:48Important for you, not only because it's your daughter's name,
00:50but why else was that important to bring it?
00:52Daisies are common flowers,
00:54but they grow through any condition.
00:57They grow through cement.
00:59They go through cracks.
01:00They grow through walls.
01:01They are resilient.
01:03They are powerful.
01:04They are strong.
01:05They are everywhere.
01:06Flowers are, to me, God's smile,
01:08but it's also a reminder of our beautiful earth
01:13and the flowers here and God's smile
01:15the beautiful magic that is everywhere all around us
01:20and even in a simple Daisy.
01:22So to really appreciate it and remember it
01:25and take care of it and protect it.
01:26Gail shared with us the song that you sang
01:30when you got up there.
01:31What a wonderful world.
01:32Why was that important to sing that particular song?
01:35I've covered that song in the past
01:39and obviously like my higher self is always steering the ship
01:44because I had no clue that one day I would decide
01:47to sing a little bit of that in space.
01:49But I think that it's not about me.
01:52It's not about singing my songs.
01:54It's about a collective energy in there.
01:57It's about us.
01:58It's about making space for future women
02:01and taking up space and belonging.
02:04And it's about this wonderful world
02:07that we see right out there and appreciating it.
02:10This is all for the benefit of Earth.
02:12You have done so many incredible things in your life
02:16selling millions of records, selling out stadiums.
02:19Where does this experience great for you?
02:22This experience is right, is second to being a mom.
02:28Wow.
02:29Yeah.
02:30That's it.
02:31And that's why it was hard for me to go
02:33because that's all my love right there.
02:36And I have to surrender and trust that the universe
02:40is going to take care of me and protect me
02:43and also my family and my daughter.
02:45Because I am full up from being able to get that gift
02:48of being a mom.
02:50And to go to space is incredible
02:53and I wanted to model courage and worthiness and fearlessness.
03:00You did.
03:01You said you wanted to go to space for the fearless women
03:03in your life as well, your sister and your mom.
03:05What was their reaction when you got to see them
03:07after you got off the capsule?
03:09I have only seen my mom and I was like,
03:11are you okay, mom?
03:12She just knew.
03:13She knew.
03:14She was totally okay.
03:15And I'm sure she was speaking in tongues underneath her breath as she does all the time.
03:20She would do that for anything else, but definitely today.
03:23But she was so super confident.
03:25My mom, she has this thing where she can see.
03:28I mean, even down to the name of like the capsule being tortoise.
03:33I know you, you spoke to all of your fans about that,
03:36that the capsules named tortoise, the feather on the side that, you know,
03:39the symbol of blue origin, all of those gave you confidence
03:43that this was the right thing for you to do, correct?
03:45Yeah.
03:46Cause I just asked for a sign from the heavens, from my angels.
03:49And they're like, well, here's the feather, which is what your mother calls you.
03:51And if that's not enough, the capsule is named tortoise,
03:54which is the second nickname that your mother calls you.
03:56And I'm like, okay, I'm going, I'm going.
03:58I got the message and I'm going to get the message.
04:00Uh, before I let you get back to your family, I just had to ask you describe for us
04:04because you're so brilliant at, at putting, you know,
04:07words together and describing moments that we can all appreciate later.
04:10How would you describe the moment when you took off?
04:13And then the moment you landed the moment?
04:18I mean, it is the highest high and it is surrender to the unknown trust.
04:25Um, and this whole journey is not just about going to space.
04:33It's the training.
04:35It's the, the team.
04:37It's the whole thing.
04:38I couldn't recommend this experience more.
04:40This is like up there with all the, you know, different, um, tools that I've learned
04:46in my life from meditation to the Hoffman process.
04:48This is up there because what you're doing is you find, you're like really finding the
04:53love for yourself because you got to trust in yourself on this journey.
04:57And then you're feeling the love when you come down for sure.
04:59And you're feeling that strength.
05:01So I feel really connected to that strong divine feminine right now.
05:06By the way, you're such a bad-ass.
05:07I love that the month of April, you're like, I'm going to space and I'm launching my tour.
05:11And it's really incredible.
05:12I, now I know I'm, I'm asking this question for your fans.
05:15Will you write a song about this experience?
05:17Oh, for sure.
05:18A hundred percent.
05:19And not only that, I, um, got to reveal my set list for the tour on a butterfly.
05:25How apropos just flying in space.
05:27I don't know if anyone's ever, I don't know if anyone's ever done that before.
05:31So I'll just, there's a lot of things that you've done first.
05:34Uh, you are now officially an astronaut.
05:36And let me just tell you on behalf of everyone here at blue origin, our webcast and everyone,
05:41all of these individuals that put this incredible thing on.
05:44Congratulations.
05:45Thank you so much.
05:46Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
05:47Uh, it's a, uh, 10 out of 10.
05:49That's my review.
05:5010 out of 10.
05:51You definitely go for it.
05:5210 out of 10.
05:53Thank you, Katie.
05:54Congratulations.
05:55All right, you guys.
05:57So many fun, uh, moments, uh, that will continue.
