00:00This season takes place over the course of Holy Week, so there's some really pivotal moments in Jesus' ministry that happened this season,
00:11and it feels like we're running out of time because, you know, the inevitable is just around the corner,
00:19and it's not quite tragic yet, but it does feel there's this urgency to this season that we're all feeling that sort of it feels unpredictable and unexpected,
00:35and we're just kind of trying to navigate what Jesus has told us very publicly, that what is about to happen to him.
00:45And so this season, Mary is trying to stop it from happening, honestly.
00:52She's been listening. She's been paying attention to what's been going on, and she's wanting to help him in any way she can.
01:01She doesn't know that it's inevitable. You know, these characters don't know that it has to happen,
01:06but, you know, she's doing everything she can to try to help him.
01:09So Jesus tells everyone very plainly what's going to happen to him, and I think everyone deals with it in their own ways.
01:17I think a lot of the disciples don't want to believe it. Nobody wants to believe it.
01:21And so there's this maybe denial or hope that it's figurative instead of a literal occurrence,
01:30and others are trying to maybe fight this from happening.
01:40Mary wants to stop it from happening, and she goes out to seek those who can maybe help her, maybe help stop this.
01:54I think the biggest thing that she's seeing occur is the Pharisees, the religious leaders,
02:01really misunderstanding or not wanting to understand what Jesus is saying.
02:10They're all so insulted by what he's been saying that they can't see him for who he is.
02:17And so I think she's almost wanting to, like, if they could understand who he really is,
02:25maybe they won't want to put him to death.
02:28And so I think there's just, there's a lot of struggles and a lot of politics going on,
02:35and in the midst of all of that, Mary is trying to navigate it to maybe change the course of things.
02:43I think they've built a second soundstage, so I haven't seen it yet.
02:50I'm not in any of the scenes, but yeah, they've got these two wonderful studios, essentially,
02:57where they can build sets within them to keep us from the Texas heat.
03:02Just wonderful.
03:04And so, yeah, it'll be a surprise to me as much as it is to viewers whenever we get to see it.
03:10But from what I hear, it's going to be incredible.
03:14I don't know if I can share it.
03:16There were two scenes that I was really excited when I read them.
03:24One of them surprised me.
03:26One of them didn't surprise me as much,
03:28but I was very grateful that the writers included it.
03:31And, you know, there's one where a group of us women get to share with Jesus
03:40what he means to us.
03:44And it's just so beautiful to show these women taking care of Jesus
03:49in the way that he's taking care of everyone.
03:51And so I thought that was really lovely to get to see that in this season.
03:57And then there's another scene that I can't say anything about,
04:01but I'm very, very excited for everyone to see.
04:03One of my favorites, yeah.
