00:00The Department of Labor and Employment, or DOLE, has ramped up its employment programs to create more job opportunities for Filipinos.
00:09At the forefront is the strengthening of the Trabajo para Sabayan Act, a key initiative aimed at driving job generation.
00:19The agency is working closely with other government agencies, including the Department of Finance,
00:24the Department of Trade and Industry, and the Civil Service Commission to ensure the laws' effective implementation.
00:31The agency is also prioritizing support for the youth sector through various initiatives, such as the Youth Employability Program.
00:40In partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, or TESDA, DOLE continues to offer upskilling and reskilling programs.
00:49Efforts are also underway to strengthen the digital competencies of the Filipino workers to meet the demands of an evolving labor market.
