00:05:27Bis zum nächsten Mal.
00:05:57Hi.
00:05:58Just curious, why are you pouring water into those bottles?
00:06:02Why are you asking?
00:06:04Guess I'm just curious.
00:06:06It's for my research.
00:06:07What kind of research?
00:06:09I'm researching how the water is affecting the marine life in Santa Cruz Beach.
00:06:12Is there something wrong with the seawater?
00:06:15Yes.
00:06:16See the sea lions?
00:06:18Some of them have cancer.
00:06:19I think it's the water that's causing it.
00:06:21How is the sea water giving the sea lions cancer?
00:06:22How is the sea water giving the sea lions cancer?
00:06:24It's too acidic.
00:06:25It's harming the marine life.
00:06:27How?
00:06:28Well, there's too much CO2 in the water caused by global warming, climate change.
00:06:33Tim, global warming?
00:06:34Recently, the news has been reporting that there have been a lot of collisions between the whales
00:06:39and the cargo ships.
00:06:39It's not the whole story.
00:06:41They're actually dying because of cancer because of the ocean acidification.
00:06:45That's why one of them washed up on shore.
00:06:46I'm Evan, by the way.
00:06:50Kim.
00:06:51It's been nice talking to you, Kim.
00:06:53So I take it you're a biologist then?
00:06:56Marine biologist.
00:06:57Awesome.
00:06:58I'm actually a scientist too.
00:06:59I study aging.
00:07:00I'm a gerontologist.
00:07:02That's interesting.
00:07:04Yeah.
00:07:05Any chance you'd want to go up to the pier?
00:07:07Maybe grab a bite to eat?
00:07:09We can talk more about how the seawater is becoming too acidic.
00:07:12I'm really busy with my research.
00:07:14Oh, come on.
00:07:15You're a scientist trying to save marine life, and I'm a scientist trying to discover how
00:07:20to extend the human life expectancy.
00:07:22We could have a lot to learn from each other.
00:07:25Okay.
00:07:26Cool.
00:07:27Let's do it.
00:07:34At present, the human race is facing an existential crisis.
00:07:40It is the greatest threat to life on Earth.
00:07:44Climate change.
00:07:45What we do now and the next 10 years will significantly affect the future of life on Earth.
00:08:07The normal weather condition we have experienced are changing, and changing rapidly.
00:08:22For thousands of years, the weather condition has been predictable and stable to support life
00:08:28the future of life on Earth.
00:08:28It is the greatest threat to life on Earth.
00:08:29It is the greatest threat to life on Earth.
00:08:30It is the greatest threat to life on Earth.
00:08:31Now, in a span of a hundred years, indeed in the space of warming human lifetimes, the extinction
00:08:32of life on Earth is a reality.
00:08:33The Holocene has faded.
00:08:34The Garden of Eden is gone.
00:08:35The Holocene has faded.
00:08:36The Garden of Eden is gone.
00:08:37The Garden of Eden is gone.
00:08:38The Garden of Eden is gone.
00:08:39The Garden of Eden is gone.
00:08:40The Garden of Eden is gone.
00:08:41The Garden of Eden is gone.
00:08:42The Garden of Eden is gone.
00:08:44The Garden of Eden is gone.
00:08:45The Garden of Eden is gone.
00:08:51The Garden of Eden is gone.
00:08:54The Garden of Eden is gone.
00:09:08What we do now, and in the next 10 years, will determine the survival of Earth.
00:09:13Determine the survival of human civilization.
00:09:19It is the extinction of life on Earth if we don't take action now.
00:09:43If we work together, we can find the solutions to fix global warming.
00:10:02We can use carbon removal technology to remove and reduce CO2 emissions, and we have to stop
00:10:09using fossil fuels to power our industrial civilization.
00:10:15We can have a world with clean air and water, renewable energy and food that can keep us healthy.
00:10:29But to make that happen, we need a plan.
00:10:39The climate is changing fast, and can lead to extinction.
00:10:47The climate is changing fast, and can lead to extinction.
00:10:51.
00:11:16Hi. Hi.
00:11:18Hi!
00:11:19Ich bin wirklich glücklich, dass du hier kam.
00:11:21Ja, danke für mich.
00:11:22Sie sehen, es ist ein Wasser-Ascidity-Chart.
00:11:50Die höher die pH, die mehr Acid in der water.
00:11:53Recently, die Acid levels in the ocean have been rising.
00:11:56That's why the sea lions and whales are getting cancer and dying.
00:11:59Pam, we have to do something about this damn global warming.
00:12:02Yeah.
00:12:03But enough about my work.
00:12:04You said you study aging?
00:12:06Yeah, I study aging.
00:12:07Did you know there's actually nine mechanisms of aging?
00:12:10No.
00:12:11There's actually 724 trillion cells in the human body.
00:12:14That's a lot.
00:12:16Yeah.
00:12:17There's more cells in the human body than there are galaxies in the universe.
00:12:20Wow.
00:12:21Yeah.
00:12:22As we age, cells begin to wear out and there's wear and tear on the DNA.
00:12:27And it's damaged.
00:12:28And that's why we develop gray hair, wrinkly skin, and memory loss.
00:12:33As well as age-related diseases like Alzheimer's, macular degeneration, cancer, and stroke.
00:12:39That's why I'm doing research on the nine mechanisms of aging so that we can slow them down using supplements and medicine.
00:12:47So that way people can look younger, be younger, and live longer.
00:12:51What really got me into the study of aging was when my grandmother passed away from Alzheimer's, an age-related disease.
00:12:58It was really hard to watch because I was so young and I just had to watch it happen and there was nothing that I could do at all.
00:13:05And that's when I vowed to study aging when I grew up so that I can develop these supplements so that people, even when they go to 70 and on, will have a really great life without these age-related diseases.
00:13:19I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. So what's your advice to live longer?
00:13:26Well, I would say eating less. Your body is kind of like a car. And the more you use your car, the more there's wear and tear on it, like the tires and so on.
00:13:35As well as having a nice healthy diet.
00:13:38So what's a healthy diet?
00:13:40I would say eating like 90% vegetables, as well as eating fruits and maybe white meats like chicken.
00:13:49What's your other advice?
00:13:51Another thing would be staying away from those sugary foods and sugary drink.
00:13:57I would say having a meaningful purpose in life and lots of exercise really helps out.
00:14:03That's great advice.
00:14:04Yeah. And not that you need it now, but as you age and get to around 40, you'll want to take one of your diet.
00:14:09You'll want to take longevity and rejuvenate.
00:14:12Two supplements started by my biotech startup, Immortal Therapeutics.
00:14:16They really combat the nine mechanisms of aging and help you stay younger for long.
00:14:21I think I'm going to do that.
00:14:23Definitely.
00:14:24So what do you like to do outside of work?
00:14:26I love movies.
00:14:27Really? What's your favorite film?
00:14:29Mmm.
00:14:30Vertigo.
00:14:31That's a coincidence. That's my favorite movie too.
00:14:33Really?
00:14:34Yeah. What's your favorite scene?
00:14:35My favorite scene has to be when Scotty stalks Judy to the Empire Hotel and follows her up to her room, and then they talk.
00:14:42I like the scene in San Juan Batista.
00:14:44Oh, really?
00:14:46I was going down Highway 101 last week, and I had to stop and get gas at a gas station in San Juan Batista next to the freeway.
00:14:54And I was looking around, and it looked just like when it was produced in the film Vertigo. So I had to take the tour.
00:15:02Does it still look like it did when they filmed Vertigo?
00:15:05It looks almost exactly like it did when they filmed Vertigo in 1958, except there's one thing that was there that isn't there now.
00:15:13Really? What is it?
00:15:14Well, you'll have to come with me to San Juan Batista to find out.
00:15:17Come on. I'm dying to know.

00:20:15...why the seagulls have come to Santa Cruz.
00:20:19And he pointed to a flock of seagulls.
00:20:21And they look magnificent, so I decided to paint the seagulls.
00:20:26He was a little worried, though, about the seagulls being in Santa Cruz,
00:20:29because in 2008, a flock of golden eagles had attacked a small town of Half Moon Bay.
00:20:36No way. Did he say why?
00:20:39No, he didn't. He didn't say why.
00:20:45Sir! Sir!
00:21:08Sir!
00:21:12Are you okay?
00:21:13God, no, no, a shark just bit off my hand, man.
00:21:16I nearly bit it off.
00:21:17Are you injured?
00:21:18Do we need to call 911?
00:21:19No.
00:21:21No, no, no need to call an ambulance.
00:21:24Sharks, though.
00:21:25Yes.
00:21:26Well, okay, a few years ago,
00:21:28it was very rare to find sharks on a Santa Cruz Ocean, right?
00:21:31Okay, but now because of global warming and climate change,
00:21:34you know, the sea warmed and now they're out there.
00:21:37God, now it's like every time I serve,
00:21:39it's like I'm playing Russian roulette with sharks.
00:21:41It's awful.
00:21:41Yeah, it's like I'm seriously considering quitting surfing.
00:21:45It's just too dangerous, you know?
00:21:49All right, guys, stay safe, okay?
00:22:11Nice house.
00:22:18Thanks.
00:22:18I sell houses.
00:22:20I'm an agent.
00:22:21Really?
00:22:21I'm actually looking to buy a house.
00:22:24Okay, in that case, let me give you my card.
00:22:27Thank you.
00:22:28Million dollar house, really.
00:22:30Are all the houses you sell really valued at at least a million dollars?
00:22:34Absolutely.
00:22:35The price of houses are going through the roof.
00:22:38Even the price of a condo costs more than a million dollars in the San Francisco Bay Area.
00:22:43Wow.
00:22:45Well, I'm looking for a three-bedroom home surrounded by trees, preferably in a forest.
00:22:50Okay.
00:22:53Are you sure you really want a house that's surrounded by trees in the forest?
00:22:59Yeah.
00:23:00What's wrong with trees?
00:23:01Trees absorb CO2.
00:23:02They're good for the environment.
00:23:03Well, usually, I just find that dream house for my clients.
00:23:08I'm not obligated beyond that.
00:23:11And I mind my own business.
00:23:12And I collect my big, fat sales commission.
00:23:19But you look like a nice guy, a nice couple.
00:23:22So I'm going to give you some advice to help save your house.
00:23:26Remember that small town called Paradise where wildfire came through and burned down the whole city
00:23:31and all the houses a few years ago?
00:23:33Yes.
00:23:33Well, that town was and is surrounded by trees and forest.
00:23:38Then the wildfire came and burned down all the houses.
00:23:42The trees were so dry they were ready to burn like matchsticks or firewood.
00:23:47And then they were all gone.
00:23:48Why were the trees so dry?
00:23:51Global warming, climate change.
00:23:54It's screwing up real estate business.
00:23:57It's screwing up the whole planet.
00:23:59It's awful.
00:24:01I love you.
00:24:14It's cool.
00:24:20It's amazing.
00:24:21See, with Rejuvenate, you can look younger, be younger, and live longer.
00:24:41Because Rejuvenate restores cells and also repairs damaged cells. Even more so, Rejuvenate really slows down those nine mechanisms of aging.
00:24:53Yes, absolutely. I could sure use some Rejuvenate. After all, I'm not getting any younger. And I'd like to get some for my mother, too, because she suffers from arthritis.
00:25:05Well, we could definitely do that. That would be great.
00:25:07So, Evan, tell me, what kind of money are we talking about here?
00:25:12So, we all are talking about roughly $10 million.
00:25:18$10 million. Well, that's a lot of moolah. But like I said, I'm not getting any younger, and either is my mother.
00:25:26But anyway, the world needs Rejuvenate now. So, you got it, man. You're going to get your $10 million.
00:25:35Fantastic!
00:25:37Yes, yes, yes! Thank you, sir!
00:25:41Congratulations. You're the man.
00:25:43Thank you, sir.
00:25:44Yeah, we're going to do some great work together.
00:25:47Yes, we are.
00:25:49So, you take care. I'll be talking to you soon.
00:25:52Talk to you soon, sir.
00:25:54Okay, now. Bye-bye.
00:25:55Bye-bye.
00:26:17Bye-bye.
00:26:18Bye-bye.
00:26:18Bye-bye.
00:26:19Bye-bye.
00:26:23Das ist ein sehr schönes Auto.
00:26:42Danke, ich habe es gerade von der Ferrari-Faktor in Italien.
00:26:47Sehr schön.
00:26:53Ich glaube, ich glaube, das Haus ist 5,000 Quadratmeter.
00:26:593 Bedrohungen, 3 Baths.
00:27:43As you can see, plenty of windows and natural lighting.
00:28:15Agreed.
00:28:17Over here, this painting is called Burning Free.
00:28:22Wildfires burned hundreds of millions of trees,
00:28:26releasing even more CO2 into the atmosphere.
00:28:30So tragic.
00:28:32Yeah.
00:28:38This painting here is called Melting Ice,
00:28:41which depicts melting ice in the Arctic and Antarctica
00:28:45due to global warming.
00:28:47The owner told me that the ice in the Arctic and Antarctica
00:28:51serve as the Earth's natural air conditioners.
00:28:54The ice helps to keep the planet Earth cool
00:28:57and at a normal temperature.
00:29:00He said that when the ice is all gone and melted,
00:29:03we're toast.
00:29:11It's beautiful.
00:29:14It's a unique setup and they're running
00:29:17great with exploration in it.
00:29:19And it makes it easier.
00:29:21The day told me,
00:29:23I don't think anyone's로 Picture.
00:29:25If you're turning on a hill aftergazyenside will Father
00:29:27the moonworks come by.
00:29:28I thought the entropy of the earths
00:29:29and this is a sign thatBOIN便'
00:29:31is here to sell their personal rudeness
00:29:35Because it gives you kind ofview.
00:29:37Rather, you just keep in mind
00:29:39Amen.
00:30:09Wow.
00:30:27Yeah.
00:30:29It's too bad today's wells won't live that long.
00:30:35They're gonna die of cancer due to ocean acidification.
00:30:38Hi.
00:30:58Hello.
00:31:00Hi.
00:31:02Awesome looking whale skeleton.
00:31:04Yeah.
00:31:06I think I know who you are.
00:31:10You are Mr. Green, founder of PayMe, Odyssey Spaceline, and the Green Car Company.
00:31:18You're like the richest man in the world.
00:31:20Yes, it's me.
00:31:22Hmm.
00:31:23You know, I love my Tesla Model 3, but my next car definitely has to be the Green E.
00:31:30Because it's fast, it looks great, and it has twice the mileage range as the Tesla Model 3.
00:31:36And it's only $20,000.
00:31:38Hope you get a green car.
00:31:40Definitely.
00:31:41And it's a good question.
00:31:42Well, we better fix global warming, else the human race will end up like this whale skeleton.
00:31:49I completely agree, but how are we gonna fix global warming?
00:31:53It's a good question.
00:31:54And I think I can fix it.
00:31:56Even if there is zero CO2 emissions now in every country, the whole planet, it will not
00:32:03solve global warming.
00:32:04Because, since the Industrial Revolution over 100 years ago, over 1000 gigatons of CO2 has been
00:32:11released into the Earth's atmosphere.
00:32:13This massive amount of CO2 will continue to raise Earth's temperatures with all the harms of global warming.
00:32:20We are at a point now, according to a United Nations report, it's Code Red for humanity and civilization.
00:32:27It's so tragic.
00:32:29So that's why I started a company called Code Red Technology to fix global warming.
00:32:34I'm funding it with a few billion dollars to build a space elevator that goes from the ground to the Earth's atmosphere, about 62 miles.
00:32:42This space elevator is a large tube and cable that is built from graphene carbon nanotechnology material.
00:32:49That's very strong to withstand anything.
00:32:52My Code Red space elevator will be used to transport cargo and people to space.
00:32:57Hey, I'm gonna disrupt the space business by making it cheap and affordable to travel and access space for everyone.
00:33:04And, it will be used to pump the CO2 out of the Earth's atmosphere.
00:33:09Here's how it works.
00:33:11My Code Red space elevator removes the CO2 out of the Earth's atmosphere and sends it into space.
00:33:18Global warming is fixed.
00:33:20That's incredible.
00:33:21Yes.
00:33:22And, Mr. Green, if you're successful with this Code Red space elevator, you're not only gonna be a trillionaire and win a Nobel Prize, but you will have done a great thing for humanity.
00:33:36Thank you.
00:33:37Even if my space elevator does not remove enough CO2 out of the Earth's atmosphere and the planet goes up in smoke, my space elevator will transport the human race into space where there will be colonies in space near Earth's orbit, the Moon, Mars, and beyond.
00:33:55That's

00:37:21They're standing, walking, and flying with the trees, before the trees are all gone.
00:37:35Last week, birds, specifically the sea eagle, was seen at the Santa Cruz Beach boardwalk.
00:37:54Local residents and tourists were concerned for their safety as the sea eagle flew too close to the boardwalk.
00:37:59Scientists are researching just how the sea eagle came to Santa Cruz from Southeast Asia, Vietnam, and Australia.
00:38:10CAL FIRE has reported 20 wildfires this year. They also predict to have 10 more by the end of the year.
00:38:17They have also stated that they are out of funding.
00:38:19In other news, Dr. Richard McLaughlin, a climate scientist from San Francisco, has given a dire warning about climate change.
00:38:30He predicts the human race is headed toward abrupt mass extinction, and the world and civilization will end in just a few years
00:38:37because the industrial civilization has heated the planet Earth to the point of extinction.

00:39:27I remember this bus used to be on that side.
00:39:31You're right, it was on that side.
00:39:33But of course, that was before the big bird attack, which came in, destroyed the bus of my business.
00:39:41It was a terrible day. Sadly, many people died that day.
00:39:46Birds attacked. Yeah, eagles. Eagles, they came by and just crashed into everything.
00:39:52It was a terrible day. I'm a little nervous, though, because lately I've seen eagles hovering above the pub and all over the Halfling Bay area.

01:19:38Birds are giving us a second can.
01:20:09There's only so much to go around.
01:20:13And it all starts from the top.
01:20:17Every day we're losing ground.
01:20:19Every day we see the signs.
01:20:22It's gotta stop.
01:20:23It's a global village.
01:20:28Need to keep it alive.
01:20:30It's a give and take.
01:20:36If we wanna survive.
01:20:38Every day children are dying.
01:20:45Starving people lying in the streets.
01:20:49Sometimes we wonder what's the point of trying.
01:20:52Everything was meant to be.
01:20:57Hope we pull through.
01:20:59Hope we can see.
01:21:01Gotta stick together.
01:21:03We're holding the key.
01:21:04When one man goes down.
01:21:07We all take a fall.
01:21:08When one man stands up.
01:21:11You know we're not alone.
01:21:12It's a global village.
01:21:16Need to keep it alive.
