Around 02:53 p.m. on Monday, April 14, a second ash emission event at Kanlaon Volcano started, creating a massive ash plume that rose up to 600 meters from the summit crater.
The ash is drifted west-northwest away from the volcano. Ashfall is to be expected in La Carlota City, Bago City, and other neighboring municipalities.
