00:00After the almost 3 months renovations,

00:02in the middle of the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Malate, Manila,

00:07in a initial test on Tuesday for a few weeks to get to the FIFA standard,

00:12the football pitch.

00:21at Sports Architecture Company na Esports International,

00:25tapos na ang major renovation na isinagawa sa football pitch

00:29ng iconic Rizal Memorial Stadium sa Malate, Manila.

00:33Simula noong Enero, isinaayos na ang artificial turf ng stadium

00:37na nagsilbing entablado sa mga makasaysayang kaganapan sa Philippine football.

00:42Makalipas ang tatlong buwan,

00:44handa na ulit ang Rizal Memorial na mag-host ng mga major football events

00:49pero kinakailangan muna itong makatanggap ng certification mula sa FIFA.

00:53Kaya nitong Webes, sa pomuno ng FIFA Accredited Sports Testing Laboratory na Acoustoscan,

01:00nagsagawa ng initial test para masiguradong pasado ang football pitch sa quality standard.

01:07Kumpiyansa naman si Acoustoscan International Director Anthony Aparaili

01:11na mas maganda ngayon ng kalidad ng inilatag na football pitch.

01:15Ibinida rin niyang ilang mga bagong features ng artificial turf

01:19kabilang na ang shock absorber na makatulong para makaiwas ang mga football players

01:24pagdating sa injury.

01:26Because it's still firm, because you have the shock drain, but it's safer.

01:32Like, you will not have injury.

01:34If you fall, you will not break your arm or your legs or whatever.

01:40The problem, the natural grass tend to be harder.

01:46So, maybe I should not have said this one is softer,

01:49maybe the other one is harder.

01:50Plus, the natural grass requires a lot of water.

01:52So, if you don't use the water, then it gets very out.

01:58You can make water to cool it down if you want, but it doesn't require water.

02:28As I've always said, when we do a certain facility,

02:34we make sure that we think of the athlete,

02:38that they can train properly,

02:41that they can become international athletes,

02:46and at the same time, we want to protect the investment of the client.

02:58Anya, simula pa lamang ang renovation ng football stadium

03:01sa kanyang plano na isaayos ang mga pasilidad sa Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

03:06On a personal note, when I did get here as PSC Chairman two years ago,

03:13and I went around the facilities,

03:17especially this one at 5.30 in the morning,

03:19I told myself that I have a lot of work to do.

03:22I promise that I will fix facilities, and this is one step.

03:26And also, I would like to also thank our partners.

03:29If you look at the VIP seats donated by CAIA,

03:34so it's a collaboration between the private sector and the government

03:37to help us build and fix the Rizal Memorial Stadium for our athletes and all sports.

03:47Inaasahan na abutin ng isang buwan bago makuha ang certification mula sa FIFA

03:52pero ayon sa Esports International at Acustoscan,

03:56maaari ng pagdausan ang Rizal Memorial Stadium ng mga football matches.
