00:00Joe Pizapia, you've been incredibly successful over the years with these market watches,
00:04catching these numbers, finding plus money, and then by the time everyone has forgotten,
00:09look who's laughing. You're almost like Newman from Science. He's always show up with a sly
00:12grin on your face. And hello, Pizapia. So let's talk National League Cy Young. Let's walk us
00:17through it. Walk us through it, buddy. What do you got? Hello, Matthew. Yes. Spencer Schwellenbach
00:23is what I want to talk about because that's already a guy who's moved up considerably
00:26all the way up to seven to one now in most markets. So where was he? About in the 15 to 1800 range not
00:34that long ago. He's gotten off to a brilliant start. First 20 innings. He's got one win and
00:38three starts. He's given up only 10 hits. He has 19 strikeouts, just three walks. His ERA is 0.45.
00:44His whip is 0.65. You can't pitch much better than Spencer Schwellenbach has pitched. Here's where
00:49things get interesting. Spencer Strider had a rehab start this week where he went five to 30 innings
00:54and struck out 13 guys. There's rumors that he could be back with the club as early as Wednesday
01:00of next week. So that's still obviously waiting on confirmation of that. But all of a sudden,
01:06Spencer Strider, if you look at where he is, he is at plus 2,200. Is there a world where we see
01:11Spencer Strider by the time we get to, I don't know, July, August, become a guy that is two or three to
01:17one? I think there is. I think there's money to be made. I guess the question is, who is the
01:21Spencer that you want more in this race on the Atlanta Braves? Is it Schwellenbach or is it
01:26Strider? Because once those guys are all going in the rotation along with Chris Sale, if he can kind
01:31of get back on track a little bit after some up and down starts to the season for him, this Braves
01:36rotation is going to be in it. I keep telling everybody you want to buy back into the Atlanta
01:40Braves sooner than later, but buying in at Spencer Strider, where he is, even if he is only a five
01:45inning pitcher for the next couple of weeks, it doesn't matter because he can still strike out nine and
01:4910 guys in five innings. He's just proven that time and time again. And people forget you missed
01:54starts in April. By the time we get to August, nobody cares. All that matters is what are the
01:59stats currently? So curious to hear your take on Schwellenbach at seven to one. I'm definitely
02:05intrigued, but Spencer Strider at plus 22 to one is even more intriguing to me because on sites like
02:11FanDuel that lets you cash out at some point with higher earnings, you might be able to make a little
02:17bit of cash on there because I don't see a universe where that 2200 doesn't become three to one at
02:23some point in the season.
