00:00Let's be absolutely clear about what's happening. Mahmoud was abducted by the United States government for daring to speak out against a genocide that this very government has been actively funding and facilitating.
00:13The courtroom we just left tells a damning story. The federal government has failed to present even a shred of evidence against Mahmoud, yet they still plan to deport him.
00:26It's about instilling fear. It's about scaring the American public into submission so they won't speak out against the U.S.-funded occupation of Palestine and this regime's ongoing genocide in Gaza.
00:43But we are here today to deliver a message. These tactics will fail.
00:49At the end of today's hearing, Mahmoud stated the following.
00:53I would like to quote what you said last time, that there's nothing that's more important to this court than due process rights and fundamental fairness.
01:01Clearly, what we witnessed today, neither of these principles were present.
01:06Today, or in this whole process, this is exactly why the Trump administration has sent me to this court, 1,000 miles away from my family.
01:15We are deeply disappointed and angry about the result of today's hearing, and utter denial of Mahmoud's due process rights and humanity.
01:22We want to say that regardless of their decisions, we will continue fighting for Mahmoud and for all the people detained by the immigrant detention system.
01:30Today and every day, we call for the abolition of this country's inhumane detention system, starting with the 11 centers in our region,
