Tesla is launching sales in Saudi Arabia for the first time, following a launch event in Riyadh on April 10th, according to CNBC. The debut comes as Tesla seeks to offset falling sales in Europe and expand into new markets ahead of President Donald Trump’s expected visit to the region. S&P Global Mobility expects Tesla to sell up to 15,000 units in Saudi Arabia within two years, though competition from BYD and Lucid may intensify. Saudi Arabia plans to build 5,000 fast chargers nationwide by 2030.
