The Week Ahead with The Yorkshire Post features writer John Blow.
Transcript
00:00Hi there, it's John Blow from the Yorkshire Post here. I'm going to take you through what's coming up in the week ahead.
00:05So first of all, teachers will come from around the country to North Yorkshire for the National Education Union's annual conference this week.
00:12Events will be held over four days from today at Harrogate International Centre.
00:17Elsewhere, the anniversary of Hillsborough tomorrow will highlight campaigners' demands that a law named after the tragedy be introduced with an all-or-nothing approach.
00:25Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer had previously pledged to introduce the Hillsborough law before this year's anniversary.
00:34Health Secretary Wes Streeting recently said that the law's introduction is taking longer than hoped, but added that a duty on public authorities and officials to tell the truth is vital.
00:46And of course, many workers in Yorkshire and across the UK will be looking forward to a four-day weekend from Friday as the Easter Bank holiday gets underway.
