00:08James Vaughan and Kevin Thelwell, both leaving their respective roles.
00:14Vaughan, who joined the club in September 2022 as loaned pathway manager, will step
00:21down at the end of April after playing a key role in the development of several young players.
00:29During his time with the club, Vaughan helped oversee the growth of talents like Jared
00:34Branthwaite, who impressed during his loan at PSV Idenhoven, and strikers Ellis Sims and
00:40Tom Callen, who had successful loan spells at Sunderland and Preston North End.
00:47In March 2024, Vaughan was promoted to head of academy recruitment and player pathways.
00:54In this role, he played a central part in bringing in promising youngsters, including
00:59Braden Graham, Amari Benjamin and Justin Clarke.
01:05Academy director Graham Prosser acknowledged Vaughan's impact and thanked him for his service,

01:14Meanwhile, Kevin Thelwell, Everton's director of football since February 2022, is also set
01:21to depart at the end of the season after the freaking group decided not to renew his contract.

01:39Under his guidance, Everton sold assets worth ÂŁ225 million while spending only ÂŁ145 million
01:46on new players, resulting in a profit of around ÂŁ80 million through key sales such as Richarlison
01:52and Anthony Gordon.
01:55Thelwell expressed pride in his achievements, particularly the club's ability to stay in
