00:00Good morning. It is not even 7 o'clock in the morning as we're up and out having exit until very late last night, or Tom did, and we are on our way to our own train station together to train to Polonia and then get a bus to Ravenna where the King and Queen will be later today before they get to fly.
00:17Suitcases, both people behind me, let's go.
00:20On the terrain, about to write some analysis on the King and Queen meeting the Pope.
00:27Beautiful room with the dirty window out the window, what am I trying to say? I'm so tired. It's Italy out the window, dirty window.
00:37Producer Tom, and there's my desktop background for my work in that top. Funny that. Only two hours to go.
00:45We are hours away from the King and Queen arriving in Ravenna, but already you can see the sea of Italians who have come out to greet their majesty.
00:55Some have union flags, some have banners down there, and then a massive queue down this street too, so it appears they're pretty popular in Ravenna.
01:04I'm live from San Francesco, Piazza, where Italians have been queuing for hours for a chance to see the King and Queen. We will be live with them very shortly.
01:15Investiture, 1969, and he was invested as Prince of Wales. Yes. And this photograph here.
01:21This is against the King and Europe.
01:24Gosh, what a day. Swarms of men in suits, swarming the King and Queen. Lots of fixed points where we couldn't really see much.
01:36But I was inside for the military reception and met this amazing 102 year old guy who will be in the package for tomorrow morning.
01:42He was part of the Italian resistance during World War Two. Some more on that tomorrow.
01:46So yes, back on the bus now, hop-fitting it to the airport to edit a package.
01:50And here we are back at Hufo Airport. What a four days that was. Lots of engagement packed in, lots of packages, lots of lives, lots of writing through the dbnews.com website.
02:00Producer extraordinaire who's trying to avoid the camera. Thank you so much for watching. We have a special trip for you coming up where I will do another video diary for all of you dbnews members.
02:10I'm not allowed to tell you what it is yet, I'm afraid, but it will be good and clearly is going to involve royals, but it's coming very shortly and yeah, I'm very excited about it.
