Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla clashed with senators during a heated Senate hearing on Thursday, accusing them of “bullying” resource persons in their bid to uncover who ordered the transfer of former President Rodrigo Duterte to a plane bound for The Hague, Netherlands.

01:29We're here. We're here. You have an executive privilege here.
01:32Why do you have an executive privilege here?
01:34You said earlier that PCTC was given an order.
01:37Now you have an executive privilege here.
01:39Who's your name?
01:40That's why we didn't want to attend the last hearing because this is what we were expecting, ma'am.
01:45We didn't want to be bullied into opposition.
01:47No, we're not bullying you, sir.
01:49Nobody's bullying you, sir.
01:50We're not bullying you, sir.
01:52You're trying to make people admit something that they will not admit.
01:55An executive privilege is a valid excuse not to answer any questions.
02:00President Duterte is already at dahig.

02:06Sino lang ko, we're trying to understand every step of bullying.
02:09As I said earlier, everything was cleared with the DOJ.
02:12We are not bullying you, sir.
02:14We want the truth.
02:16That's why if we try to make a person admit something that should not be admitted,
02:22it means that there is something more to it which is clearance given by the DOJ
02:31was probably the most important part of it.
02:34To serve the warrant of arrest and to surrender the person under the law.
