00:00Donald, I just want to sort of touch more on the point that you said.
00:03You said that sources have told you there's more Chinese soldiers fighting for Russia.
00:12What's the circumstances around this?
00:14Have Ukraine captured more and they don't want to come out and say it directly?
00:19Good question. I can't answer confidently without talking to my Ukrainian colleagues.
00:24Most likely they capture these too, but through a variety of capabilities, particularly electronic intercepts, they can track pretty clearly who's talking to whom.
00:38They can track pretty clearly where a lot of these soldiers are deployed.
00:43So I would guess, and I'm positive, there's no problem at all knowing that these are Chinese troops.
00:48The problem, the thing now, they've captured some, they can put the video on the camera as you've done.
00:54They can capture and point at them and say, look, we have proof.
00:59But this goes to the larger question that Russia needs more bodies.
01:03A lot of the media story, partially fed by Russian disinformation, is that Russia's inexorably rolling to victory, that Russia is on the march everywhere.
01:14And that's simply not the case.
01:16Okay.
