00:00Well it all started by the advert on the television to support them and I
00:05thought right I've got to do something so I you know rang them up and the lady
00:10said well we can send you some fundraising pack of ideas whatever and
00:16it snowballed into a month of raising money for Marie Curie. We've had sort of
00:22small competitions that we've done Marie Curie's competition of where the
00:28daffodil bulb was planted. We've had the daffodils on the on the table on the
00:33counter in the shop. David very kindly let us use the shop as our base for the month.
00:40Sharon very kindly at the end of the month and we have got a quite a big poster for
00:45that that she sat in the bath and had baked beans poured over her.
00:50Daniel my son so it was daughter and son Daniel did the swim
00:54on the Sunday and we just sort of it snowballed into what was going to be
00:59something very small. We were so pleased into something very
01:03big the school very kindly got involved locals as a community and the lady from
01:11Marie Curie is coming down this morning with a big check that we can let her have
01:16the money be free. Well in total £2,500 possibly more which when we started we had to put a total
01:25and I said oh £150 a month and it wasn't it was £2,500 and as I say it was great that the
01:34school got involved they had a musty day they did a complete I think a complete day and they
01:40raised over £157. I don't know whether they realised that we haven't got to thank them yet
01:47but you know so yes it was absolutely fantastic and it you know it's quite
01:53tear-jerking really to think that people were so fine supporting us and helping us.
