00:00Two tons of cocaine was found in a cargo vessel in South Korea,
00:05which is considered the biggest drug haul there.

00:21This cargo vessel arrived in South Korea
00:24and was heard by the authorities that it has an illegal cargo.
00:28It was entered by the staff of the Korean Customs Service and the Korean Coast Guard.
00:33When it came to the engine room,
00:34they entered the hidden compartment at the back
00:37and saw some cargo.
00:40They got a packaged package
00:42with the logo of a luxury brand.
00:45When they searched,
00:46they found white substance.
00:48They got a sample and tested it right away.
00:51They were convinced of the result.
00:53This is cocaine.
00:55In total, the authorities found
00:57more than 50 boxes of cocaine.
01:01These are two tons in weight
01:04and are considered the biggest drug haul
01:07in the history of South Korea.
01:09According to the authorities
01:10from the Federal Bureau of Investigation
01:13and Homeland Security Investigations of America,
01:16the tip about smuggling.
01:18They say that the ship came from Mexico
01:21and sailed to Ecuador, Panama, and China
01:24before it arrived in South Korea.
01:26The captain of the ship is being investigated
01:28and it is known where the drugs will be brought.
01:31The ship was not named,
01:33but according to J.J. Aglan Companies,
01:36they confirmed the ownership of the ship,
01:38the Norwegian flag MV Lunita.
01:41It is not yet clear how the drugs were transported.

01:46in the investigation in South Korea
01:48and other jurisdictions.
