00:00Good news for the passengers of MRT 3 because the extended weekday operations of the so-called Railway will continue,

00:07as well as the deployment of additional train sets during rush hour.

00:12This is also because the so-called 1,000,000 commuters are not getting enough benefits.

00:21Every day, MRT passengers ride to Shaw Boulevard Station from North Avenue to get to their work.

00:29Most of the time, they reach the station at 10 p.m. because of their work.

00:33For her, the extended operating hours of MRT 3 is a big help.

00:38If we can't reach the MRT, we'll climb under the MRT.

01:40Because of the good feedback from the public, the extended weekday operations of MRT 3

01:46are being monitored in accordance with the Directive of Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon

01:50which is to provide long-distance travel and to allow passengers and commuters to travel at night.

01:56According to the direction of MRT 3,

01:5861,000 passengers will be served with additional operating hours after the two-week pilot test.

02:07MRT 3 will also continue to deploy additional train sets to the revenue line

02:11so that the travel will be better during rush hour.

02:14Because of this, the travel of trains is extended for an hour

02:18where the last train trip to North Avenue Station is at 10.30 pm

02:22and 11.09 pm to Taft Avenue Station from Monday to Friday.

02:27Meanwhile, the MRT 3 and LRT 2 for war veterans are free to ride

02:33as a tribute to our veterans who fought in the Second World War during the Philippine Veterans Week.

02:40The free ride started on Saturday, April 5, and it will last until Friday, April 11.

02:46The valid ID from the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office or PVAO

02:51to the security officers of the MRT stations is required.

02:54Free riding is valid from the first to the last trip of the train.

02:58The same applies to the LRT 2 for passengers.

03:00But when April 9 arrives, there is a free ride for all passengers of the said line.

03:07LRT 2 passengers are free to ride from 7 am to 9 am and from 5 pm to 7 pm.

03:14Meanwhile, the MRT 3 operation is suspended from Holy Week from Wednesday, April 17 to April 20,

03:23to allow for maintenance activities throughout the MRT 3 line.

03:28The normal operation will resume on April 21, Monday.
